    Seishiro had grown in height and weight since those warm days where Reo could and would carry him. Now, a year and a lot of self-neglect later, (if the bony arms and visible ribs had anything to say about his condition) Reo probably could carry Seishiro again. If he weren't dead. But if he wasn't dead, Seishiro also wouldn't be this unwell.

    It would be over Reo's dead body (quite literally) that he would willingly let Seishiro get this bad.

    A world without Reo wasn't one Seishiro wanted to live in, but maybe now, after experiencing this, he could live a life without him—one where Reo was alive and breathing, happy and smiling, just without Seishiro at his side. It'd be miserable, at best. But less painful than the permanence death brought.

     

    Or, the fic in which Reo dies, and Seishiro can't let go. No matter how hard he tries. He'll do anything to get him back, even if that means tearing himself apart in the process.
