Summary
After a failed rebellion of Reach lords against the crown, House Hightower once again finds itsself bending the knee to King Maegor Targaryen. As an act of control and insult, the ruling Lady of Oldtown and claimant to the Reach throne is wed to one of the king's distant cousins, Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Neither party is comfortable with the union at first, but when Alicent commits to rebellion a second time, Rhaenyra chooses her wife and growing love over her house.
