Người ta thường nói trong tiềm thức mỗi người có một ngăn tủ đựng đầy mảnh vỡ của một thời đã qua, và khi nơi ấy chẳng còn chỗ trống, những vụn kí ức dưới đáy sẽ vỡ dần thành hạt cát bé xíu, bị cơn gió thời gian cuốn về phía hư vô. Còn Zhongli, y có cả đại dương, bầu trời và mặt đất để lưu giữ tất thảy thịnh suy vinh nhục của thế gian ngắn ngủi mà đẹp đẽ này.
Nhiều kẻ sẽ nói y may mắn biết bao, khi mãi nhớ về bóng hình y thương yêu vô ngàn. Người khác lại bảo xui xẻo mới đúng, vì với những tháng ngày vô tận phía trước, Zhongli sẽ không tài nào quên được khoảnh khắc trao nụ hôn cuối cùng cho người thương dần lịm đi trong vòng tay mình.
Nhưng dẫu cho ngày chia ly đã kề cận, trong hơi thở đứt đoạn nhuốm mùi rỉ sét, trong nhiệt độ cơ thể tan dần theo ánh tà dương núp về phía sườn tây, trong nụ cười chẳng hề tắt mặc sắc đỏ tươi xâm chiếm gò má xanh xao, vì sao lấp lánh vụt qua thoáng chốc ấy sẽ mãi tỏa sáng như ánh hoàng kim trong kí ức của Zhongli.
