    Summary

    Modern day BDSM series with Lan Zhan as a sub and Wei Ying as a Dom.

    They are both lawyers in the same company, and have been friends since Law School. Wei Ying never made a move because he thought LWJ was a Dom, too, and Lan Zhan never made a move because he thought WWX didn't want him /that way/.
    Of course, they are both very wrong.

    This is a Getting Together, Friends With Benefits story, with lots of BDSM elements between two characters who trust and respect each other above everything else.

    Losing control… felt like a privilege. Like something just out of reach, even when Lan Zhan searched for it. It felt like an indulgence, and it scared him, how much he wanted to indulge. How much he craved it, dreamed about it, and still couldn’t quite make himself get there.

    He needed someone to take it from him.

    And someone had.

    Ever since Lan Zhan became Wei Ying's sub, he feels like he's floating on air. He never thought he would have any kind of intimacy with Wei Ying, and even though they aren't romantically involved, Lan Zhan is more than satisfied with their current arrangement. This is certainly enough to make him happy.

    Or, at least, that's what Lan Zhan forces himself to think.

    “You’re in the hospital,” she says. “You were in a traffic accident, and–"

    “No, I heard that. But–” Wei Ying glances at the extremely pretty man, who’s just staring at him, completely still. His empty hands hover in the air. “I don’t need anyone to take care of me. I just wanna go home."

    “You are going home,” Yanli reaches over and tucks his hair behind his ear, giving him a tiny smile. “Don’t worry. Just a few more scans, and then Lan Zhan can take you back."

    “Who’s Lan Zhan?” he asks.

    The pretty man by his side inhales so sharply Wei Ying feels the air get sucked out of the room.

    Wei Ying gets in a traffic accident and loses six years of his memories, including meeting and marrying the love of his life. This is the story of how he falls back in love with Lan Zhan: quickly, and inevitably.

    “We had an hour,” Lan Zhan said. Mildly, flatly, but his words hit Wei Ying like a slap across the face. “And now look at what you’ve done. You made me come in under two minutes.”

    “Lan Zhan.” Sobbing, crawling like a dog, not caring how pathetic he looked. “I’ll do anything you ask.”

    “Then beg for it.”

    Or: Wei Ying enters into a dom-sub arrangement with his coworker, Lan Zhan. They’re a good fit on paper: Wei Ying is an experienced sub, and the only thing Lan Zhan wants is to be edged to the point of delirium. But Lan Zhan’s approval is a slippery, exhilarating thing, and Wei Ying finds his personal feelings getting in the way of his ability to perform.

    His phone buzzes again, and Lan Zhan picks it up this time. To his surprise, it's a message from the Blood Bank.

    The Blood Bank was a way for him to make money faster, beyond his usual teaching job, to help his mother. He tried not to think too much about the fact that there were random faceless vampires feasting on his blood.

    Frowning to himself, Lan Zhan clicks the message.

    "You have been selected as a special provider for a very prestigious client! The Yiling Laozu has chosen you to be a part of his regular collaborators!"

    Lan Zhan raises an eyebrow when he sees the name.

    Very few vampires are known amongst humans, because they keep well hidden, but Yiling Laozu is one of the most well-known ones.

    Lan Zhan's blood gets the attention of a vampire who is well known to the entire world for his creations: Yiling Laozu. At the same time, a beautiful man he meets on a rooftop tries flirting with him, his aura strangely alluring.
