For a second Wen Kexing is frozen, caught completely off-guard, before his mind catches up. The sight of the shoes, so delicate and unexpected with the rest of his suit, make Wen Kexing feel as if he’s seeing A-Xu’s feet for the very first time, bare ankles and tendons pressing up under the thin skin, only his toes hidden in the pointed tip. The black lacquer shines dully, a bit dusty from use. Did he wear these all day long, let random strangers glimpse him like this before Wen Kexing ever did?

This was not about relief. This was not about violence. This was different. Wen Kexing was not fucking Zhou Zishu as much as he was filling him up. Zhou Zishu was not being fucked by Wen Kexing as much as he was taking him in, showing Wen Kexing the hollowed, gouged parts of him, empty chambers that Wen Kexing was all too eager to filll.
