Summary
In 1904, an Epidemic swept across Resembool. Trisha Elric, the young mother of Edward and Alphonse Elric, fell victim to a particularly harsh strain, and lay sick on her deathbed for weeks as her children desperately attempted to conact their father, one Van Hohenheim, who had left home months prior.
It seems as if the clock is ticking down, and there is no hope in sight, as mail returns either unanswered or bearing no word on the location of Van Hohenheim. As the Mother is growing weaker and weaker, hardly able to wake herself up, all hope seems to be lost.
Until A Stranger with a familiar face shows up at their home, unannounced and unknown.
