The apartment was quiet when Marc walked in.
Pau was on the couch in one of Marc’s old training shirts and nothing else, scrolling on his phone. The second he saw Marc’s face — tight jaw, distant eyes, the heavy silence that always followed a bad result — he set the phone down.
“Bad one?” Pau asked softly.
Marc didn’t answer. He just walked over, dropped his bag, and sank to his knees between Pau’s open legs like it was the only place in the world that still made sense. His big hands slid up Pau’s bare thighs, pushing the hem of the shirt higher.
Pau’s breath caught. “Marc…”
“Need this,” Marc muttered, voice rough. He leaned in and pressed his face against the soft skin of Pau’s inner thigh, breathing him in. “Lost. Felt like shit the whole way home. Just… let me.”
Pau’s fingers slid into Marc’s dark hair, gentle. “Okay. Take what you need.”
