he hyped himself up for this so much, in his mind there was only two was this could go: everyone's call with it and supports him or everyone hates and mocks him and he doesn't become a pro hero. in a world full of quirks you would think something that makes someone different wouldn't matter but this was a big secret to deku
he'd been planning this more months, planning and rethinking and backing out of this over and over but today he took all might to take to Aizawa about deku redoing a test that he actually did well on but he didn't tell all might that because he just needed aizawa to be late
he put his blazer on slowly, taking a deep breathe and thinking his plan through "no backing out now." he said to himself as he began walking out of his dorm he shared with kacchan who thought it was around class time and followed deku to the door he didn't know it was 20 minutes early
kacchan elbowed deku through the door and waited for the boy to react, deku needed to stay calm so he just took a breathe and kept walking. kacchan didn't like this lack of response so he tried again, tripping deku up and flipping him off "fuck off." he said to the boy on the floor. deku had had enough of kacchan's shit and without thinking he just said
"fuck on!" and well... even he knew it was a crap reply but coming from mister never swears or curses it was well a first. kacchan was laughing at him, his hand over his mouth trying to not die laughing
"are you for real?! the FIRST time you swear you say "fuck on" ? just that is the shittiest thing ever!" he laughed at the boy who was still on the floor from being tripped
"Go. SWEAR! yourself! kac-chan!" there goes that whole "stay calm" thing "WHY did you have to pick TODAY to be a pain?!" deku picked himself up off the ground and looked after from the taller boy still laughing at him
"what makes today so important? finally got a girlfriend or something?" kacchan asked between laughter
"you'll just have to wait until class!" he smiled at himself getting back some of his confidence from earlier
"aww you need you friends around to be able to tell me?" kacchan spat at deku through laughter
"no, I just want everyone there..."
"oh my god! it's you and round face! "
deku gave a confused look "what about Uraraka?"
"you're dating her!" kacchan dated and deku wanted to yell how that cant happen because of his soon to be not secret
"impossible for so many reasons..." now that kacchan had kept him for ten minutes he ran away to his class before kacchan could follow. he was more annoyed that kacchan was how he found out his secret. he opened the class room door and stood in front of Mr Aizawa's desk and waited for the others to take their seats, when everyone was sat down and looking confused at him he spoke up "I see most if not all of you as my friends and well I'd just like to say that I'm-" panic cut off his last word, he was so close to doing what he'd planned for so long he tried again but no words came out, he was at the front of the class looking like he was about to cry while telling the class his secret.
everyone looked worried even kacchan. deku took another deep breathe because really couldn't back down now "I-i'm-"
"why is deku crying?" he heard someone whisper and he couldn't do this anymore, he didn't care if he got a weird look everyday of his life, he ran out of the classroom crying and no one followed him as far as he knew, he was just crying because what else could he do? he cant go back and fix it now can he!?
"why am I so stupid!?" deku yelled through a shaky cry then sobbed into his hands
"deku, the fuck was that?" kacchan said him, getting down on one knee to be more eye level with boy on the fall sobbing into his hands
"yo-you've had e-enough of a la-laugh at me! go a-away kacchan!" the boy sobbed harder and it honestly made kacchan fell bad for him
"I'm not here to laugh idiot! I'm worried about you because you ran off crying for no reason!"
deku mubbled something that kacchan couldnt even try and make out what it was "what was that?"
"I SAID I AM GAY! I'm gay... t-that's the re-reason!" kacchan pulled deku closer to him into a hug
"I may not understand you or what you're going through BUT I dont care if you're gay mostly because that would make me like evil." he held deku closer "if anyone says anything after you come out I'll beat them up, okay?" he felt deku nod "want to go now?" he felt a head shake "if people see us hugging they're gonna think I'M your boyfriend." kacchan chuckled but he felt deku's heart rate go up to the point he thought deku was going to have a panic attack
"shit-sorry! I didnt mean it in a bad way-"
"n-no it's not th-that... I fo-found out cause of y-you..." deku wanted to pull away from kacchan but couldnt bring himself to look at the boys face to he stayed with his head against kacchan's chest "I'm s-sorry..."
"dont be, anyone would be lucky to have you. but what about me was it?" kacchan was wondering now
"w-well I've always looked up to you a-and you CAN be n-nice to me. you're really brave, you take charge and you're lou-loud and strong. wh-when you want something y-you don.t g.et si-side tranked and well so mu-much more..." kacchan could feel the heat from deku's face
"sound's like you just like dominate guys..." he laughed and moved some of deku's hair out the way and almost kissed his head "anyway... how about you go and tell the rest on the class this news?" deku nodded so kacchan got up pulling deku up with him. kacchan stood in the door way as deku stood in front of the class again
"lets get something straight, I'm not!" and with that he sat down next to kacchan and whispered a quick thank you every few minutes
