Chapter Text
Todoroki entered his living room with a plate of finger foods and instantly registered the tension in the room. The primary source of this appeared to be Midoriya and Bakugo, who were currently staring each other down.
“Okay, that’s fucking it.” Bakugo threw his drink at Midoriya, who dodged it, but wasn’t able to dodge Bakugo as he threw himself across the table at him. Bakugo sat on top of him, grabbing him by his shirt and repeatedly punched the greenette in the face. “You want a fight? I’ll give you a fucking fight!”
Midoriya swung his legs up, hooking them around Bakugo’s body and pushing him off with his own strength, sending the blonde crashing into the table. “Fuck you Kacchan! You don’t even love her! I do!”
Todoroki’s eyes widened in surprise as he followed where Midoriya’s eyes had shifted and let out a small gasp. Midoriya loves Uraraka? He took a bite out of one of the little sandwiches on the plate as he continued to watch.
“Who said I don’t love her?! And that’s fucking rich coming from you. You had your chance with her years ago but decided to just fuck her and then leave! Now she’s with someone else, happy without you, and you suddenly want her?! That’s bullshit and you know it!” Bakugo got on his feet, his hands sparking for a moment before he pointed to a heavily pregnant Uraraka. “Like it or not Deku, that baby girl inside her is 100 percent mine.”
Todoroki’s jaw dropped. Wait, Bakugo is the mysterious father of Uraraka’s baby!?
Deku looked at Uraraka in shock as she blushed heavily his eyes asking if it was really true. “Yes, Katsuki is the father, but it’s more complicated-” Everyone in the room gasped at her confirmation.
She was cut off by Deku letting out a scream as he tackled Bakugo, their bodies slamming on the table with enough force to break it. All of the food and drinks poured all over the two men. The mess didn’t stop them as they threw punches and kicks at each other. “Midoriya, Bakugo! This is not appropriate behavior for young adults, especially pro heroes!” Iida tried to separate the two in an orderly manner but it was not going well.
Tsu helped Uraraka back away from the brawl and kept a tight arm around her. “How did this even happen, kero?”
That’s what Todoroki would like to know. He felt like he’d come right into the middle of an episode. He chewed methodically, eager to see the events unfold.
“Yeah Uraraka, how did this happen?” Kirishima scraped some food off of his clothes while glaring at the anti-gravity hero, which was confusing. Since when did Kirishima Eijirou speak to his friends like that? “Maybe if you weren’t trying to get with Midoriya while pregnant with Bakugo’s second child, this wouldn’t have happened!”
Todoroki pressed a hand to his mouth as he gasped and looked back at Uraraka for her response.
Uraraka glared at Kirishima and tried to get in the redhead’s face, but her big belly and Tsu held her back. “Excuse me?!”
“You heard me!”
Mina jumped in, pressing a hand to Kirishima’s chest. Todoroki was now on his third sandwich.
“Well maybe if you were more honest with your feelings instead of running away like a coward, I wouldn’t be pregnant! You’re just pissed that he’s having a family with me and not you!”
Todoroki munched on his food, his eyes bouncing back and forth between Kirishima and Uraraka fighting and Iida trying to separate Midoriya and Bakugo. He just couldn’t decide where to look. Kaminari and Jirou were slowly making their way to the door where Todoroki was to escape but…
“Oi! Don’t yell at the woman who is carrying my child!” Bakugo picked up a book and threw it as hard as he could at Kirishima, who ducked, clearing the way for it to hit Kaminari square in the head and knock him out.
Kirishima looked back at Bakugo and now Mina was trying to hold him back from fighting Bakugo. “Dude! What the hell?!”
Jirou cradled Kaminari’s head in her lap, trying to wake him up, but he was out cold. “Bakugo, what the fuck?! You better not have put my boyfriend in a coma!”
Mina and Kirishima froze, looking back at the newly discovered couple while Todoroki thought I knew it . “You two are dating?!” Mina looked hurt at not being in on the romances in her friend group. “Why didn’t you tell me?!”
Panicking with the attention on her, Jirou pointed back at her. “Well, same for you! Why didn’t you tell any of us that you and Sero are dating? For the past three years!” Now that was a twist, thought Todoroki. He reached down to his plate, only to find it empty.
The room all turned to Mina, who could only stutter, her tongue losing its capability to for words. Todoroki looks over to see Yaomomo walking in with another plate of finger sandwiches. “Oh my goodness!”
She is about to jump in to stop the disaster but Todoroki held up an arm to stop her. He leaned in, whispering in her ear, “Shhh, it’s getting good.” Taking the plate in her hands, he hands her a sandwich before eating another one himself.
“You’re dating Soy Sauce and Kirishima!?” Bakugo let go of Midoriya, who fell to the floor, facing Mina with a look of disgust.
Mina shakes her head, wearing the same expression as Bakugo. “Ew, no! Who said I was dating Kirishima?!”
“Kirishima did!” Bakugo and Uraraka both pointed at the guilty redhead at the same time. Todoroki nearly choked on his sandwich as he turned to the flustered hero. Would the surprises never end?
“WHAT? Why did you tell them we were dating?!”
“Well, why didn’t you tell me you and Sero have been dating for three years?!”
“That’s not the issue right now! I didn’t lie about dating someone, you did!” Mina smacked Kirishima in the chest, pushing him away.
Midoriya stood up, wiping his mouth clean of blood with the back of his hand. “He isn’t the only one who lied about being with someone! I overheard Uraraka’s manager talk about how Kacchan and her weren’t together at all when she got pregnant with her son nor are they now! That means I’m his father!”
“Ochako was with Midoriya?” Momo leaned in to whisper to Todoroki, who just shrugged. Together, they continued to watch so as to find out the answer.
Uraraka looked around helplessly. “Were you eavesdropping on my manager?! Why?”
“Cause you guys won’t tell us anything! I mean, last time I checked, you were gay , Bakugo!” Kirishima grunted as he crossed his arms.
Todoroki blanched. How could Kirishima out Bakugo like that? But the blonde continued to roll with the punches, as well as throw his own.
“Because we don’t need to! Both of you made it clear years ago that you didn’t want to be part of our lives. Also, news flash: people have sex without being together all the time and she wasn’t exactly a virgin when she slept with you, nerd! That doesn’t make you the father.” Bakugo screamed at both of the men, sparks flying from his palms.
However, to Todoroki’s astonishment, a smug grin spread on his lips. “You have only seen her naked once, while I have many times. Like that scar on her left butt cheek and the small birthmark on her inner thigh two inches away from her pu-”
Midoriya launched himself forward, kicking Bakugo square in the gut and sending him flying into the adjacent wall. “Katsuki!” Kirishima and Uraraka both sounded concerned for Bakugo.
Todoroki wondered when Kirishima had started calling Bakugo by his first name. There must be something they don’t know there…hopefully it would be revealed before this ended.
Bakugo slowly picked himself up from the ground. “You son of a bitch… you used your quirk on me?! Fine!” Using his quirk to gain momentum, Bakugo leapt into the air and grabbed Midoriya by his face, blasting him out one of the windows. “We are taking this outside!” Bakugo left through the broken window, more explosions going off from outside.
No one moved after that dramatic exit, not until the sprinklers came on to put out the fire left behind by Bakugo.
The fire department came quickly, checking the Todoroki residence for any other fires and Kaminari was sent off in an ambulance with Jirou. Uraraka was sitting on a bench on the porch with Todoroki and Momo, watching Midoriya and Bakugo being lectured by Aizawa while tied up in his capture cloths. Todoroki’s mind was still reeling from all the revelations from this episode.
“Sorry about your guys’ house…,” said Uraraka.
Momo waved her off; she could just make the things that had been damaged. Uraraka sighed heavily as she rubbed her stomach. Tsu and Mina leaned on the railing silently. Kirishima was standing in the yard a couple of meters away, avoiding the others. “Well, this was officially the worst baby shower ever.”
“All it was missing was an evil half twin brother to appear and it would have been just like the shows my mother watches in the hospital.” Everyone gave Todoroki a weird look. “What?”
A couple walking over to the group caught everyone’s attention. Tetsutetsu and Kendo were walking up to the porch with a gift wrapped in pretty pink paper with cartoon baby bottles. Before they could even ask what had happened, Todoroki pointed to Tetsu and then to Kirishima. “The twin arrived… I knew it.”
“Twin? What?”
Todoroki wondered what the next episode would bring.
