Web Warriorsᵀᴹ

Summary:

The Web Warriors of Queens, NY, have decided to start what no other vigilante in NY - or any other place for that matter - has ever done. A YouTube channel! We'll see heroes join in on the action, and perhaps get some insight on the Avengers Civil War after nearly three years.

Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, the Arachnid, and Silk are in charge of the channel and Twitter account, so they try to provide as much they can! Special guests will show up from time to time to gain a perspective from everyone.

While they try to make the most of their time left in Midtown High, the Watchdogs seem to be acting out a plan, their purpose.

And what's this about "Elementals"?

Chapter Text

The beginning feed shows Spider-Man staring at the camera. The background shows that he seems to be on a roof along with giving off some background noise, presumably cars and such (Obviously).

"Is it recording?" The presumed leader of their "team" asked.

"Yep. You're on, Webs." A feminine voice called from behind the recording device.

"Alright." Spidey cleared his throat before his lenses narrowed in show of a smile through his mask. "Hi, everybody! Welcome to our new channel, The Web Warriors!"

"We are not naming our channel that." Another female voice told the web-slinger. Spidey looked back at the source, aghast, "Why not? It works! Besides, the Defenders were already taken."

"I gotta agree, the Web Warriors have a nice ring to it. And besides, what else could we call ourselves? We're also New York vigilantes thus apart of the Defenders by default, but we're also a team of our own." A male voice this time retorted to the feminine one.

"It's The Web Warriors, Arachnid-."

"Whatever, we'll argue about it later. I think we should introduce ourselves next." The other feminine voice from before interrupted.

A woman in a white and black spandex suit, similarly to that of Spidey's, appeared in front of the camera. "Hi! As I'm sure everyone knows, I'm Ghost-Spider. Second member of the Web Warriors."

"Wow. Ego much?" The other female voice called from behind. Ghost-Spider scoffed, but was sure to use light tone to show she knew her friend was joking. "We've been patrolling Queens for, like, what? Three years, now? I wouldn't be surprised if people from outside of New York didn't know who we are, but we've been doing team ups with a lot of people who were known better in those two years."

"Alright, me next!" A male voice, the Arachnid, said. The same spider-vigilante showed up beside Ghost-Spider. "I'm the Arachnid. Basically Spider-Man, but better." He shrugged.

"Wait, how are you better?" The original web-slinger asked.

"I've got extra tricks up my sleeve." Arachnid looked very smug about his "extra tricks", despite wearing a mask. Spider-Man slumped his shoulders, although someone came to his rescue.

"Those "extra tricks" didn't help you when I kicked your ass in a sparring match last week, now did it?" The last of the Web Warriors, Silk, finally appearing on screen.

The Arachnid just groaned, while the other two heroes giggled at his suspense. "It's hard to hit you when you move so damn fast!" He defended. "I swear you cheat everytime we train with the others."

"For those who do not know me, I am Silk. The last member of our little squad." She gestured to herself then to her allies and friends, ignoring Arachnid completely.

"This will be our first video on our channel! We'll be giving you all a detour of Queens while catching some criminals." Spidey explained.

"Well, let's not waste time. Here we go!" Arachnid shouted in glee as he web-swinged left of the building they are on.

...

...

"Does he know that he's going in the wrong direction where the bank robbery actually is?" Silk asked as she pointed in the correct direction.

"No, he doesn't." Ghost-Spider shook her head.

Spider-Man just sighed. "He'll catch up, we gotta go now." He shot a web and proceeded to swing away. Ghost-Spider and Silk followed suite, Silk using her biological threads, and followed the red and blue vigilante.

Once the video captured footage of the Web Warriors in action (Arachnid was late, by the way), Spidey, with the help of Karen, edited the video and posted as their first video once he was done.
