Chapter 1: Even Vampires Need to Take Care of Themselves
Summary:
It’s the first day of class and it’s a bit of a rocky start...
First chapter is a bit more introductory, things should start moving more after this!
Chapter Text
Shouta looked through the list of new 1-A students, skimming over their brief profiles and idly tapping his sharp nails on the surface of his desk. Each one showed potential and had quite intriguing quirks to boot. The question was if they had the drive. He guessed only about 10 or so would make it without being expelled. He’s never had a full class before.
His pointed ears twitched at all too familiar footsteps coming from the hallway. Shouta sighed, bracing himself for the incoming well of energy that was bound to burst through the door in a minute or two.
Just as predicted, within a minute, Hizashi burst through the door and loudly announced his presence as if nearly throwing the door off its hinges wasn’t enough,
“HEY HEY HEY ERASER! I see you’re up bright and early, as usual. Whatcha up to?”
“Looking over this year’s 1-A.” He answered, deadpan and exhausted. How his friend had such energy after a bunch of late shifts in a row was a mystery to him.
Hizashi waltzed over, looking over Shouta’s shoulder, “Woah! A full house yo! I’m surprised you haven’t expelled them all before they even got a chance to walk into class.” Mic sat in the seat next to Shouta, casually leaning back, “You’re going to break so many hearts Eraser, how cruel!” He gave a slight grin and spun slowly in the chair.
“Oh hardy har har har. You know I can’t go easy on them. We can’t have just anybody becoming a hero--”
Mic waved his hand to interrupt, “I know, I know! Just jokin’.” He adjusted his glasses and leaned forward, “Hey, you had anything to drink yet? You look paler than usual.”
“I’m fine. Maybe your eyesight is getting worse.” Shouta huffed, shuffling the papers around a little too harshly.
Mic recoiled in mock-offense, placing a hand dramatically over his chest, “Well I never!” He rolled over in his chair, leaning an elbow on Shouta’s desk with a smirk, “Someone’s grumpy today. Got bad blood?”
Shouta simply rolled his eyes, setting the papers aside, “No. I haven’t even had any today.”
“AHA! I knew it!” Mic sat up and grinned, “You’re just hangry!”
“Ugh…” Shouta rubbed his temples, “Hizashi, I swear…”
Mic poked his shoulder several times, “You know not drinking is bad for you! Not only do you get all grumpy, but you start lookin’ scarier than usual. Hey, remember that time you didn’t drink anything for like two days and almost caught on fire in the sun!? Ya gotta take better care of yourself!”
Shouta sighed. He did not feel like getting lectured today. But, Hizashi had a point. Plus, if he drank at least one packet he would not only feel a bit better but he would get the flashy mother hen off his back. Shouta let out another sigh and turned to face Mic.
“Alright, fine. I’ll drink one--”
Before he could finish, Hizashi was already shoving a packet of blood he seemingly pulled out of nowhere into his face. He waved it around as if the action would make Shouta move faster, “Hurry up Eraser! Don’t wanna start the new school year starving, do ya?”
Not questioning why Hizashi casually had a packet of blood on him, Shouta snatched it from his hand. His red eyes stared down Mic with an annoyed glare, not breaking eye contact as he drank the packet dry. His friend simply grinned, obviously proud of pestering him into self care.
Mic leaned forward, a smug little smile on his face, “Feelin’ better?”
Shouta grumbled, “...Yes.” He didn’t want to admit it, but he was already starting to feel a lot less groggy.
Mic leaned back in his chair and spun away to his desk, Shouta rolling his eyes before returning to whatever he was doing before he was interrupted.
A few minutes of silence passed before Shouta felt a familiar tapping on his shoulder. He let out a low growl and faced Hizashi, “What is it now ?”
“Didn’t class start five minutes ago?”
Shouta blinked, the time having completely slipped his mind, “...shit.”
~
Class 1-A sat quietly as their teacher tiredly explained the course, reciting the words as if they were programmed into his brain.
It was a bit jarring how quickly the class had turned from a noisy gathering of teenagers to a (somewhat)dignified room of hero course students. Despite his disheveled, tired, and slightly creepy appearance as well as the fact he was ten minutes late, the teacher held an air of authority and seriousness around him. Something about the way he carried himself demanded respect. That or he was just too intimidating.
For one, he wasn’t the first image to pop into mind when thinking about a pro-hero teacher. In fact, he wasn’t even the last. His hair was a mess, his outfit looked more like rags, and his skin was so pale he seemed almost dead. Not to mention his glowing red eyes and what appeared to be fangs.
Sure, there were way more tough and scary looking guys out there. With far more menacing features. But something about Mr. Aizawa just felt off . Almost as if he weren’t human.
The class’ anxiety soon turned into confusion when the strange teacher of theirs told them to put on their training clothes and head outside for evaluation, completely ignoring student orientation and whatever else activities the school had planned for freshmen.
Didn’t they already pass the exams? What else did they need to prove?
~
Shouta stood in front of the class, making a mental note of who would most likely stay in his class. He quickly explained why they weren’t at a meaningless event that would serve no purpose for the hero course. Opting to jump straight into evaluation to get everything over with.
Not only did they need to spend every minute of their class preparing to be the best heroes they could be, he needed to weed out any who weren’t cut out for the stresses of pro-hero life.
As the students hurried to test their skills and prove their place in 1-A, Shouta quietly moved into the shade. The sun couldn’t hurt him as long as he was at decent enough strength, but it was still irritating and kind of itchy.
He receded further into his scarf, eyes being the only thing visible as he observed the students. They were all doing well, showing the same(if not more) potential and drive that was present in the exam. A welcome surprise given the last few classes he’s had.
Of course, one stood out. A kid with a crazy powerful quirk that his body couldn’t handle. A kid who was probably not going to be in his class for too long. A kid, who for some reason, was being watched and quietly cheered for from around the corner by none other than the Number One Hero. For such a great hero, he sure wasn’t stealthy. Shouta had heard him rushing towards the area from several meters away, even Mic was quieter than that.
Curious as to why All Might, of all people, was so interested in this little activity and the self-destructing boy, Shouta listened in to the whispering with his eyes still trained on the students.
This should be good.
~
Toshinori peeked around the corner, sneakily watching Midoriya as he did his best to get through the trials. Of course UA would have a second set of tests, well, at least under this teacher. Toshinori nearly panicked when Aizawa pulled that dirty trick, erasing Midoriya’s quirk and threatening to expel him on the spot. Was that even allowed? Who knew 1-A’s teacher would be so hardcore?!
Either way, his successor pulled through and showed spectacular control of his new found quirk. Managing to throw the ball with just the power stored in his finger. He was so proud.
“That’s my boy!” Toshinori whispered to himself, doing his best not to alert anyone to his presence, “Who knew Eraserhead could be so cruel and unforgiving? I should have a word with him.”
“Then have one, I’m right here, All Might.”
Toshinori nearly shot into the atmosphere, coughing up blood and quickly wiping it away. How on earth did Aizawa get behind him!? He swore he just had eyes on him, what was with this guy?
“Was there something you needed to tell me?” The pale man tilted his head to the side, eyebrow raised, “Something about me being cruel and unforgiving?”
“A-ah, yes! That!” Get a hold of yourself!
Toshinori cleared his throat, “That was a dirty trick you did. Almost expelling Young Midoriya for no reason! Honestly Eraserhead, have you no shame?”
“No reason?” Aizawa’s eyes seemed to almost glow, “I had plenty of reasons. He’s reckless and not grounded in reality. Similar to a certain somebody I know. I am curious as to why you, of all people, are interested in--” He abruptly stopped, sniffing the air before staring eerily up at Toshi, something flashing in his eyes.
“Um...Aizawa? Is there something wrong?”
Toshinori’s hairs stood on end when the strange teacher took a step forward, a little too close for comfort, staring with those unnerving eyes. Toshi swore he saw Aizawa’s fangs grow longer, a low growl emanating from him.
“...Aizawa? You’re starting to freak me out there…a-are you okay?” Toshi found himself stepping back a little, rightfully freaked out and a little concerned.
A beat.
Aizawa blinked, as if emerging from a trance. He quickly stepped back and buried his face in his scarf, taken aback by something. He looked up at Toshinori, that odd flash in his eyes dim and subdued now, “Sorry...I...It’s just that, you um...you have some blood on your chin.”
Toshinori gasped, fumbling as he hurried to wipe it off, “Ah! Oh I’m so sorry about that, ah that is really unprofessional isn’t it? Haha, don’t worry, nothing serious! Just a little spot of blood is all, perfectly normal! Right--” Toshi blinked and looked around, he was alone now, “--Aizawa?”
~
Shouta hastily made his way into the school building, not giving his departure a second thought. He knew he hadn’t been drinking as much as he should lately, but even then he should’ve been able to restrain himself. How did one measly drop of blood make him nearly lose control!?
The smell from that red little speck still lingered in his nose, like the faint sound of a siren’s call urging him to bite. No blood he had ever encountered before had smelled that good. His stomach growled just thinking of it.
Shouta shook the thoughts from his head. Right now he needed to get to the teacher’s lounge before something bad happened.
He turned the corner and quickly rushed through the door. Luckily the room was empty at the moment, everyone off teaching their other classes.
Shouta beelined for the mini-fridge in the corner of the room. It was plain and unassuming, save for the piece of paper taped to it labelled: “AIZAWA’S FRUIT PUNCH” in what was clearly Hizashi and Nemuri’s handwriting. He rolled his eyes at it before opening the door.
It was practically barren, only two packets left. Of course, it was only the first day of school and any portions he needed were mostly at home. Just his luck.
He sighed and grabbed the one labelled ‘Midnight’. It was donated from her, all of his blood was donated by willing coworkers. They were smaller than normal blood bags, about ⅓ the size but enough to keep him going. About three or so were good enough for a meal. Each one had a different taste, and sometimes had certain effects. Midnight’s was perfect for when he needed to calm his nerves while Mic’s was great for a small energy boost.
The thoughts of All Might’s mystery blood faded away as he drank from the packet. He felt himself relax and his mind cleared up. Was he really that hungry?
“Eraser?”
Shouta nearly leapt out of his skin, jumping to his feet and whirling around to see who had just walked in.
Hizashi held his hands up in surrender and stopped in his tracks, “Woah! Take it easy, it’s just me.”
Shouta calmed down, easing his posture and breathing, “Sorry about that, you spooked me.”
Hizashi raised an eyebrow, “ I spooked you ?” He walked over, “Are you doing okay Shouta?”
He nodded, “Just, something happened earlier that I do not want to think about right now.” He ever so slightly tightened his grip on the now empty blood packet.
Hizashi frowned a bit, but didn’t push any further. He rubbed the back of his head, “So, Eraser, not to randomly change subjects but...you kind of left your class hangin’.”
“...” He blinked, and then facepalmed. In his rush to the teacher’s lounge, he completely forgot about his class.
“Do you want me to take over or--”
“No.” Shouta interrupted, dragging his hand down his face, “I can take it from here.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah.” He walked to the door, throwing the packet away on his way out. He stopped in the doorway and turned around, “Oh right, almost forgot. I’m low on blood and could use some more packets.”
Hizashi blinked, thinking about something before throwing up a grin and finger gunning, “Gotcha! We’ll get right on your ‘fruit punch’.” He winked.
“Don’t call it that.” Shouta shut the door.
Hizashi held a thumbs up to the door, definitely still calling it that.
He turned on his heel and walked over to the still open fridge, he frowned, “Man, you gotta keep track of this stuff Shou…”
He was definitely going to talk to Nemuri and the others about this. Maybe even get Nedzu in on it to really drill it in. If it took being an annoying little shit to get Shouta to take care of himself, then so be it.
Chapter 2: Miracle Blood
Summary:
Aizawa is trying his best to just exist, but the blood-fountain known as All Might keeps making things difficult.

Chapter Text
Shouta was very stressed right now. It was only the middle of the day and things were going well. Then he showed up, grin a mile wide and voice booming through the halls. All Might .
Shouta looked up to the guy, both literally and figuratively, he really did. But right now? He really wished the Number One Hero would shut up and leave him alone.
Right now, All Might was rambling on about future lesson plans and exercises for the students to go through. He was trying his best, that’s for sure. It was admirable. But Shouta really wished he wasn’t so close to him.
For some odd and unexplained reason, All Might’s blood was godly. It smelled like indescribable euphoria. Some piece of heaven must have dropped down from the sky and landed into his veins. There was no way it could be his quirk, there had to be more to it. No person’s blood could be that unbelievably delicious. It made his stomach growl.
All Might was still going on about his plans, oblivious to Shouta’s inner torment. Shouta could tell the man had been coughing up blood earlier. He could sense the smallest speck in his mouth, emitting that cursed aroma as if it were right under his nose.
That did raise some questions, though. He knew All Might wasn’t entirely well, from what Nezu told them. But how bad was it exactly? Bad enough to constantly cough up wells of blood, that’s for sure.
“So, what do you think?”
Shouta turned to All Might who was still holding that bright smile. He was eagerly awaiting Shouta’s approval.
“Umm, think of what?” Shouta moved a little more into his scarf, covering his nose. At least the scent was muffled.
“My lesson plans!”
“Oh, right, those.”
To be perfectly honest, Shouta wasn’t really paying attention. He didn’t know what to say. It was kind of weird to say the least. The pro had almost 20 years on him, and here he was grinning from ear to ear like a child showing off his latest project.
“Well?”
Shouta moved more into his scarf, piecing together the words to make himself seem competent.
“Your plans are interesting. Send me a written version and I’ll look over them for you.”
Nailed it.
“Um, sure. Oh hey, Eraserhead, I was wondering if--”
Shouta quickly interrupted him, “Sorry I have to go, I am very busy.”
He quickly made his way down the hall before another word could be said, getting as far away as possible. He didn’t stop until the scent of All Might’s blood thinned into nothing. Whatever flowed through that man’s blood must have been powerful, the scent still finding ways to linger in Shouta’s nose. He wondered if he was actually smelling the blood from this far away or if the aroma was just that potent.
Shouta really needed to figure out a solution. There was no way he could last an entire year going through all of this running around and avoidance. God forbid All Might tries to teach longer than expected.
There was always the option to tell All Might about what he really was: a vampire who could smell his blood from a mile away and was fighting the urge to rip open his neck every time they were near one another.
Shouta grimaced. He already felt weird enough with having all the other staff know what he was. No one else really needed to know. Not unless it was an emergency. What type of emergency would that even be?
He shook his head.
Shouta could deal with this. He’s been through worse. He just needed to keep a cool head and focus on important things, like his job and keeping his students in line. Right. He was a Pro-Hero, a damn good one at that. He needed to act like it.
He let out a tired sigh and continued down the hall. This year has had a rocky start, but it was time to get his bearings and push through. He’s got this.
~
Toshinori typed at his computer, trying his best to focus. He’s done paperwork before, but it always left him anxious. He was honestly not that great at it and usually had someone else do it for him. When he signed up to be a teacher to help coach Young Midoriya, as well as the other students, he completely forgot the non-physical aspect of it. Having to keep track of how long he could stay in his stronger form was taxing as well. It felt a little overwhelming at times. But he just had to stay strong and grin through it.
“Hey, you alright there number one?”
Toshi sat up and looked to the desk across from him. Present Mic was watching him, concerned.
“You were tapping that poor desk so hard I thought it was gonna explode! Somethin’ stressing you out?”
“Ah, no! Just a little overwhelmed, haha.” Toshi gave a thumbs up and put up his signature grin.
“Alrighty, just go a little easy on the finger-tappin’ next time. Don’t want to break that poor thing.” He gestured to the desk, “I can practically hear it crying for mercy!”
Toshinori rubbed the back of his head, “Heh, I’ll keep that in mind.”
He paused, realizing he had meant to ask Present Mic something, “Hey, Present Mic?”
The loud hero leaned to the side, finger-gunning, “Just Mic is cool. No need to be so formal, yo!”
“R-Right!” Toshinori cleared his throat, “Mic, you’re close friends with Eraserhead right?”
“Mhm?”
“Well, I’ve been trying to get on his good side lately. I’ll admit, he is kind of scary. But he also seems rather shy. And as his co-teacher I think it’d be best if we found some common ground. I was wondering if you could help with that.”
Mic snorted, holding back a laugh. He waved his hand to dismiss the action, “Sorry, sorry. I didn’t expect the Number One to be so awkward. Those interviews don’t do ya’ justice.”
Toshi turned a little red, “Hey! Interviews and social interaction are different.”
“Haha, I understand. I’ll see if I can put in a good word for ya’.”
“Really!? Thank you!”
Toshi smiled brightly, returning to the mind-numbing paperwork. Aizawa was scary, but he seemed like a good teacher and hero. He also seemed shy. Always shrinking down or keeping his distance. Not wanting to be others, or at least Toshi, for too long.
Toshinori wondered if he was intimidating to the tired teacher. He huffed. That was very unlikely. Sure he was big and tough and towered over almost everyone, but there was something about Aizawa that sent a chill down his spine. He had an air of authority and...something else about him. Toshi remembered the first day of class, when Aizawa just stared at him with this odd look in his eye that triggered Toshi’s fight or flight instincts. It felt almost inhuman. He shuddered.
But that was all in the past. Sure Aizawa was a little weird and kind of creepy, with a stare that made his bones feel like stone. But Toshi was sure he was a great guy! He just needed to be more approachable.
~
“And he called him shy! SHY!” Hizashi threw his hands in the air, “It’s admirable to see him try so hard to befriend the resident grump, but come on? Shy ? Shouta’s quiet, but he certainly speaks his mind.”
Nemuri chuckled, placing her cup of water down on the table, “I didn’t expect All Might to be so awkward. Older guys aren’t my type but I’ll admit, it’s kind of cute.”
“Hmm, I wonder if something’s been going on. Shouta’s been on edge lately, do you think something happened?”
Nemuri pushed her glasses up, thinking, “He has been requesting more of my blood. He definitely seems stressed. He even took some fresh from my arm instead of a packet.”
Hizashi raised an eyebrow, bewildered. Fresh blood was more filling and nutritious, that was the conclusion they all came up with, but even then, “Woah, really? He never wants to drink from you. You always make it too weird.”
“I don’t! It’s just a little bit of playing around.”
“Sure. Sensual moaning is just ‘playing around’.”
“We all have our different ways of play.” She smirked.
Hizashi rolled his eyes, “Ignoring that...I know something is up. When I see him, I’m gonna get the answer out one way or another.”
“Well, it could be something private.” Nemuri shrugged, “I would say leave it be, but then again if it has something to do with the more...batty side of him, we might need to check it out.”
Hizashi snorted, “Heh, batty.” Shouta would hate that descriptor, so of course Hizashi is going to use it.
As if on cue, Shouta burst through the door. He shut it behind him and sighed. He seemed stressed, to say the least. His hair more disheveled than usual and his sharp nails practically stabbing the poor, defenseless door. The tired vampire looked up, eyeing the two of them.
“Oh hey Shouta, we were just talking--”
“Oh thank god you two are here.” Shouta walked forward, holding his head, “I am at my limit.”
Nemuri raised an eyebrow, glancing over to her co-worker. Hizashi returned the look. He walked up to Shouta and placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Woah, hey, is something up?”
Shouta flopped onto the couch, placing his palms on his eyes and groaning, “It’s All Might. The guy’s a goddamn blood fountain! I’m going nuts just being a few feet away from him.”
Nemuri scooted over, leg crossing over the other one, “Aren’t you eating--sorry, drinking , enough? It shouldn’t be a problem, should it?”
Shouta sat up, moving his hands down from his eyes, “That’s the thing! The guy’s blood smells like nothing I’ve ever smelt before. It’s...it’s...I don’t know how to describe it! It’s like ambrosia!”
“Ambrosia?”
Hizashi chimed in, “The food the gods eat in Greek mythology.”
“Ah.”
Shouta groaned, placing his head in his hands. Hizashi frowned. He rarely saw him like this. He was usually the one best at keeping his composure. Especially when it came to things like this. At least now Hizashi knew what was troubling Shouta.
“Well, at least you’re keeping good control through all of this.”
“...I almost bit him...twice.”
“WHAT!?”
“WHAT!?”
Both him and Nemuri shot up, eyes wide in shock. The last time Shouta almost bit someone, had bit someone, was several years ago. Long, long before he even became a full-fledged hero. For him to nearly lose it now, that was not good.
“Whoa, Shouta, why didn’t you tell us this before? This is really bad. Like, really really bad. When did this even happen?!”
Shouta thought back a bit, “Well once on the first day of class and the second just a few minutes ago.”
Nemuri tore the sleeve of her costume, holding out her arm, “If you need any, just go ahead. I won’t even try playing around.” Her voice was genuine and full of concern.
“I’m fine. I’ve managed to keep it held back, but…” He sighed, something flashing in his eyes, “I might have to tell him.”
Hizashi frowned. Most of the staff knew about Aizawa being a vampire, even chipping in to help with his dietary needs. But Aizawa himself liked to keep it low-profile. Being a vampire wasn’t something he was all that prideful in, and he certainly didn’t like the million questions that came with the reveal.
“Are you sure about this, Shou? I know how you feel about the whole situation.”
He stayed quiet for a good minute, thinking. He lightly rubbed one of his fingers over his sharp nails, looking at his distorted reflection in the shiny blackness, “Honestly? I don’t know. Would telling him even solve the issue? I don’t think he can really stop coughing up blood all the time.”
Coughing up blood? That was a whole other can of worms to open, but right now they needed to focus on Shouta.
Hizashi sat down beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder, “It could help. I don’t know how Nezu would react to you eating the Number One hero.” He gave a light chuckle.
Hizashi felt Shouta tense but then relax a little, “Maybe it’ll keep him off my back. I could finally get some peace.”
Nemuri snickered, “He is the symbol of peace after all.”
Shouta rolled his eyes and Hizashi couldn’t help but laugh.
Shouta leaned back, looking at the ceiling, “Fine, I’ll do it. Just to end this torment.”
“We got your back, yo!”
“Now…”, Nemuri leaned forward, “How do we go about telling the big guy?”
“Just like we told everyone else, duh!”
~
“I’m a vampire.”
All Might stared down at Shouta, dumbfounded.
“...C-Come again?”
“I’m a vampire.”
Shouta stated it clearly and loudly, with full seriousness. Hizashi was standing beside him, looking completely serious as well. They had decided yesterday to go on and tell All Might what Shouta really was. They weren’t too sure on how he would take the news.
All Might shifted, clearly taken aback, “By vampire, do you mean your quirk? I thought it was Erasure.”
“My quirk is Erasure. I just happen to be a vampire on top of that. It’s kind of hard to explain, but...well, I...Mic?” He turned to Hizashi for help. Man, this was really awkward.
Mic snapped to attention, focusing on the Number One, “It’s no joke, yo! Ask anyone around here and they’ll tell ya’. I mean, just look at the fangs and the claws and the glowing red eyes. Classic vampire!”
All Might nodded slowly. Yeah, he definitely wasn’t buying this. Who would? Vampires were creatures that belonged to books and movies and video games, not real life! And if they did, it was just a very similar quirk. Not the real deal. Shouta was starting to wish he just stuck with the internal suffering instead.
All Might rubbed the back of his head, “While I love a good joke, this one is a little confusing.”
“That’s because it’s not a joke!” Hizashi tried to explain, going on and on about how very real the situation was. He just sounded more ridiculous with each new sentence.
Shouta groaned, “We don’t have time for this.” He stepped back, might as well just get it out of the way. Rip the bandaid off and whatnot.
Shouta’s form dissolved into a swarm of bats, circling around the other two before flying up to the ceiling and back down again. He resembled a swirling black cloud, ready to unleash a horrid storm. The swarm of bats spiraled downwards, fitting together like puzzle pieces, forming back into a humanoid shape.
Shouta crossed his arms, “Believe us now?”
All Might’s jaw dropped, several emotions and thoughts going through his head. He stared at Shouta, trying to logic out and piece together what he had just witnessed.
“Y-your quirk...I thought it was Erasure.”
“It is.”
“But then how…?”
“Vampire powers.” Shouta shrugged. He still felt awkward about it, but he had to admit it was kind of fun turning into a swarm of bats.
Hizashi walked over and patted All Might’s arm, “Yeah, crazy stuff isn’t it?”
“Mhm…”
“Need a minute?”
“...Mhm.”
~
After giving All Might a chance to process all of this, Shouta explained in better detail. He talked about the smell of All Might’s blood and how it was driving him nuts, the supply of other teacher’s blood in the lounge, who knew and for how long. It was a lot to take in, but the older pro managed it well.
Hizashi had asked about the coughing and All Might gave a rather vague answer, about being injured but giving no other details. They didn’t dig any further, it wasn’t their business. Shouta was just glad to get everything out of the way. A weight had lifted from his shoulders.
There was still the problem of the hypnotizing aroma of that godforsaken blood. But, now that All Might is aware of the problem it should help ease their worries. If Shouta was lucky, the pro would keep his distance and leave him be. And even then, it was just one person. A single source. No one else. Just one, singular guy to watch out for.
~
Shouta stared down Izuku Midoriya, eye twitching as he tried to figure out just what the hell was going on.
The boy had gotten hurt(no surprise there) during practice, ending up with a wound on his arm. Right now he was getting patched up by Recovery Girl, nervously glancing between the old nurse and Shouta.
Shouta didn’t care how weird he was being right now. Staring down a student’s bloodied arm, trying his best to keep composure. Trying his best to figure out why Midoriya’s blood smelled so eerily similar to All Might’s, more potent as well.
Were they related? Did All Might have an illegitimate child? Some type of blood transfusion? So many things were flying through Shouta’s mind right now.
He wanted to ask, but that would be digging into his private life. It would be such an odd question, but one that would stay on Shouta’s mind forever if not asked. He mentally groaned. Just when things were looking up.
He would just have to keep an eye on him. Hopefully the kid can keep his blood in his body, unlike a certain maybe-relative.
This year was going to be something else.
