Elliott loves his son.
Okay, so he’s not his biological son, but he’s Elliott’s boy.
He’s sarcastic. He gets headaches sometimes, and has more energy than he knows what to do with. Technology often leaves him frustrated at its limits.
But he’s a good son, coming into Elliott’s life just after his wife left him. Caring for him has kept Elliott from becoming the hermit he wanted to be.
It’s selfish, but he’s glad his boy can’t remember anything.
Only Elliott’s home and care, their shared love of science, and evenings spent together, studying the mysterious aliens from the alley.
