A change in universe

Summary:

Dream and Tommy looked at eachother before looking at wherever the hell they were, and looks like they were in a child self alternative universe.

Great.
Amazing.

Summary/explanation :
Instead of being stuck together in time loops, Dream and Tommy are friends who goes through multiple or thousands of alternative universes.

Notes:

Me and Ash decided to write a loop fic, but Instead of being set in the original Dream SMP it's set in multiple random alternative universes.

Chapter 1: A new start

1. The children are here please help  (Part 1)

As Tommy and Dream looked around their surroundings and eachother, they could most definitely point out something. They were children like not actual teens, but children.

Of course Tommy was the one who spoke first like always, "WHAT THE FUCK!" he screamed loudly. Also noticing the fact that his voice got higher.

Okay this was weird as hell.

"Holy shit." Dream says, his voice also high as well, Tommy being Tommy immediately thought of the chaos they could make.

"Wait if we're children, doesn't that mean we can get away with anything?"

Tommy Asked him and looked at Dream. being the same height Dream was, but Dream still had those blonde and green eyes and hair like the original universe. Good, since sometime they're hair and eyes change when they travel to another universe, it changes their hair and eye colour.

"Tommy, No. we don't know how this universe works or if any of our close friends are here. Unleash your chaos in another universe alright?"

Dream answers him, with the calm tone he always had when Tommy tried to murder someone or blow up lmanburg in another universe.

"Ok big D, so what are we supposed to do?"

"I don't know really." 

Dream answers his question, keeping his calm tone. Tommy immediately thought of an what they should do. 

"Hey Big D, what's happens when we convince random people to adopt us?"

Tommy asked him, looking at him with his puppy eyes that literally never worked before.

Dream thinks of it for a second, before answering Tommy's question.

"You know what, sure."

He says, not knowing multiple people about to start a war for both they're custody.

2. ⟟'⋔ ⏃ ☌⊑⍜⌇⏁, ⌇⍜⍀⍀⊬. (Part 1)

As Dream wakes up, he feels pain and pain before finally seeing who the mysterious figure Infront of him, It was s- Quackity. Oh god, No no no.. he didn't wanna be here, he didn't want to feel the pain in his skin all over again. He didn't wanna be forced to eat raw potatoes again, he didn't want to feel the cold air in his cell with loneliness. 

⟟ ⎅⍜⋏'⏁ ⍙⏃⋏⋏⏃ ⏚⟒ ⊑⟒⍀⟒! ⌿⌰⟒⏃⌇⟒!

"Oh Dreamie, you finally woke up!" 

Quackity says before stomping on his hands with his boots, Dream felt pain before screaming in pure agony while s- Quackity laughed like he saw the funniest thing in his life.

⟟'⋔ ⌇⍜⍀⍀⊬, ⌿⌰⟒⏃⌇⟒.. ⌿⌰⟒⏃⌇⟒ ⟊⎍⌇⏁ ☌⍜!

He didn't wanna be here.

"Come on Dreamie, you know what happens when you disobey me right? Just give me the book and I'll leave."

"No, No- Im not giving it to y-you!" 

Prime he wanted to cry so bad, he wanted to be out. His voice sounded deep like he haven't spoke in months, similar to the original universe. He didn't wanna speak again, it hurt so bad.

Quackity looked at him in pure rage, before putting his axe on Dream's chest.

"Give me the fucking book Dream if you don't want me to make you more fucking miserable!" 

Sir screamed at him, he was afraid. It hurt to speak, he spoke though because he was afraid of him.

"N-No!"

Dream yelled, he felt pain. But sir laughed looking so angry and he was scared.

He was about to say something when suddenly, Sir pushed the axe in his chest.

Red blood leaked everywhere, he wanted to scream. But it was too late.

⟟ ⊑⍜⌿⟒ ⊑⟒'⌇ ⍜☍⏃⊬.

 

3. lads on tour!

As Dream and Tommy slowly opened their eyes, they immediately recognised where they were. They were in Tommy's exile or rather, his vacation ordered by President Tubbo.

Tommy slowly got up from where he woke up from, and he saw Wilbur from afar. Like actual Wilbur and he swears he could cry right now, he missed Wilbur so so much.

But he also knew he had to stay still to hold his cover, or else they'd be discovered anyways. He looked at Dream who didn't have his mask on.

Instead of his golden blonde hair, he had Tommy's light blonde hair, instead of green eyes shining like emeralds he had blue eyes that Tommy could swear is shinier then diamonds itself.

"What the fuck-" 

Tommy spoke first, (because he was big man!) Sounding shocked as hell because he was. Dream looked at him confused before finally speaking.

"What?"

Dream asked, confused with how Tommy reacted to seeing him, almost looking like he'd seen a ghost. His train of thought was cut off though when Tommy said "You look like me big D!"

Oh prime, where they in another sibling alternative universe again?

4. ⟟'⋔ ⏃ ☌⊑⍜⌇⏁, ⌇⍜⍀⍀⊬. (Part 2)

As Tommy looked around his surroundings, he noticed one thing immediately. Dream wasn't here. Which was pretty fucking weird since almost 99% of the time they would wake up in a new world together, and he recognised this place as well.

It was original universe, or was it? He didn't wanna be back in his hellhole. Hell maybe even Dream was in prison like the original timeline, which was fucked. After remembering Dream was in prison, he fucking bolted out of his house.

He wante- no needed to break Dream out of there. Dream had told him in another universe, that Quackity was torturing him. And after that he made sure to protect Dream from every single Quackity double there was in multiple universes, because even if Dream has recovered physically, the mental scars won't go away. He was still there.

Tommy was going to break him out, he'd do anything to do so. But he didn't have a plan. He needed someone to help him, as he brainstormed on what to do as he's holding his communicator, he sees a message that would forever haunt him.

Dream was killed by Quackity using Warden's will

He swears to god he'd kill Quackity right there.

5. modern life pog!

As Tommy woke up early like always, and made a cup of coffee. He was in a modern world alternative universe. Which was pretty shitty if he said so himself, as he dresses up in his sweater with some perfume, he'd ready to start his job again. As a barista.

Now he hopes he doesn't destroy everything at work.

Dream draws like always, I mean it was his whole career in this world so why not? In this universe, he was a well known artist who usually posted in YouTube his speedpaints. (art speedrun)

He was still friends with sapnap and George and everyone, doesn't mean he could be calm and relaxed with them though. Because even if he tried he couldn't. He was still so tense around them, he didn't want to hug them anymore or touch their shoulders like he usually would. Different universes experience made his trust issues more shit and the original universe was quite literally hell so no thanks.

And the question that he first asked himself when he arrived at this universe was, where was Tommy?. Of course he found out later where he was. Turns out he was a barista near a cafe in Dream's apartment.

Dream sighed, ready to start his new day.

6. The children are here please help (Part 2)

The first thing Dream and Tommy thought of was look for the family if their bodies even had one, and un-surprisingly they don't. Which was good for Tommy, bad for Dream. I mean how are you gonna relax when there could be anything dangerous here and there's no shelter?

As they tried walking through the forest, they stumbled upon a small town. As they walked around they see a woman with white curly hair, and Dream immediately knew who it was.

As Puffy began walking through the town's streets, he quickly notice something 1. She's gonna be late for the royal meeting. 2. She now has 2 children following her. And hell puffy couldn't have looked more mad, because who the hell would leave 2 children alone in here?

Of course she wanted to bring them to the meeting but she knew that wasn't allowed, so she met up with her girlfriend, Niki who worked at a bakery nearby. As she walked there with the two children of course she asked them questions.

"Hello! How are you two how did both of you end up here?" 

Puffy asked, trying to sound as sweet as possible. She didn't wanna scare these two children.

As Dream and Tommy looked at eachother they decided to lie about how they ended up here. Because they really didn't know.

"Mama and papa left us here!"

As Tommy was about to say something, Dream interrupted with the most kid like voice he could manage.

As Puffy questioned them slowly, she knew things a child shouldn't be experiencing.

1. These two children were abandoned by they're mother and father. Which was shit if she was being totally honest.

2. Their names were Dream and Tommy weird names but she didn't really mind.

3. They're siblings, twins to be exact. Except for the fact that Dream inherited his mom's green eyes.

She needed to have a break sooner or later.

8. ⟟'⋔ ⏃ ☌⊑⍜⌇⏁, ⌇⍜⍀⍀⊬. (Part 3)

 

As the cold wind passed his face, he opened his eyes not aware of where he was. This wasn't the SMP. It was quite clear with the green grass and flowers around every corner, unlike the SMP where flowers barely grew.

This was so peaceful, unlike the SMP where chaos reigned supreme. He thinks he can rest in an alternative universe loop, just this once.

unknown to him, the universe welcomed him with open arms, happy to have their beloved admin back.

               " I'll stay with you until the dawn, don't worry I won't disappear.

                        Promise?

      Of course, the universe and I love you."

                             Liar.

          " if you really loved me, you wouldn't have disappeared.

               You were a liar, and still are.

             You weren't there when I was tortured to death, weren't you? Don't act like you didn't just suddenly leave me when I was a kid.

                      You can't just come back to me, after I died.

                 I'm sorry.

         Save it, I don't wanna hear your bullshit. "

 

As he spoke to his lost brother who left him long ago, he couldn't help but feel anger.

            Why was he here? Why?

     He didn't want his brother to answer that question, he didn't wanna meet him while he's dead either.

He longed for his brother all those years ago, he remembered crying every now and then when he remembered him. But now? That was different, he didn't cry because his brother wasn't here. He cried because he knew he could never be free from the clutches of his torture, as he knows he'll be a ghost wandering the SMP.

For once, he allowed himself to cry in his brother tightly hugging him, missing the warmth he provided.
