Sitting at the edge of the Fire Nation Royal Palace’s duck pond, [Name] smiled as she watched the turtleducks swim on the water. Watching one of the little ducks near her, her smile grew even bigger as she slowly reached out to pet it. When it nor the mother made any moves to stop her, she continued, giggling at how soft its fur was.
The quiet and peaceful atmosphere was broken when footsteps were heard racing toward [Name]. Spooked by the sudden noise, the turtle duck scurried away, hurrying back to its mother. Stand up and turning around, she saw Azula standing in front of her. “There you are. Why are you hanging out with some filthy animals?” The Fire Nation Princess scoffed. Grabbing [Name]’s hand, Azula began pulling her away. “Come on. I just thought of a fun game we could play. We just need Zuzu too.”
“I don’t think he’s going to want to play.” Though she didn’t know the game yet, [Name] knew it would be dangerous if Azula was the one who came up with it, and as much as she was wary of playing, she knew her parents would be mad if she declined the young girl’s wishes.
“Don’t worry about that.” Azula looked back and gave her a smirk. “I know just what to do to make him play.”
