   Summary

   After Jerusalem gets overtaken by the pilgrims, Nicolò and Yusuf leave the battle behind. They face the consequences of that choice as they travel through the desert in search of answers. Yusuf repeatedly makes moves on Nicolò and for the longest time, Nicolò has no idea. Once he finally does get an idea, everything crumbles.
