Does anyone else find the Percy Jackson Case really suspicious?

Now let me explain before going on a rant because I’ve talked about it IRL before and some people got kind of aggressive about it (which is also very weird).

So, I (37 M) used to be Percy and Sally Jackson’s neighbour up until they moved out. And despite the kid giving really weird vibes at times and looking like a troublemaker he was a really sweet boy; he’d carry our elderly neighbour’s groceries every time he was here and is surprisingly very good with kids even if they’re always a bit scared when first meeting him.

The same goes for his mom, I could go as far as call her a goddess on earth, she has the patience of a Saint, is beautiful and loves her son more than anything in the world. She worked really hard for him and made cookies to die for, though she had the weird habit of making her food blue, I would probably kill my own partner to eat her cookies again.

And here goes the tons of questions on how she ended up with Gabe Ugliano in the first place, we’re not stupid, all over reddit and other social medias they were a lot of people finding Gabe’s reaction to his wife’s disappearance odd. Well people you would be right, that man despised Percy, he would blame him for everything he could - I once heard him blame him for a bird shitting on his car – we also all knew that he wasn’t the most attentive husband and that when Percy was at his boarding school, Sally would sometimes go to work with a few bruises and a few years before everything Percy came to my apartment asked my partner to teach him how to apply makeup, which would be perfectly normal if there wasn’t this huge bruise on his cheekbone.

So, I really wouldn’t believe a word that man said if I were you. But to go back to the original topic, let’s add a few details from what the public knows about this case.

Sally went missing on a road in the middle of nowhere in Long Island after she and Percy went to Montauk for a few days (which is where she met Percy’s mysterious and missing father, yes, it’s an important detail to add, I’ll get to it). What is odd is that all (or most) of their things were still in the cabin they rented, which means they ran away in emergency (also why the fuck was there goat hairs in the car?) and like… The car was hit by lightning? How did they survive?

Anyway, they survived and here is what I’ve heard from a discussion between Sally and Percy once they met again, so Sally had been taken at that moment by someone they called “Hades” and that Sally referred to Percy as “his uncle”. But Sally doesn’t have any family left, which means it comes from his father’s side of the family (which we still know nothing about except that Sally usually says that he’s lost at sea). Percy was resting and hiding at somewhere they called “camp” along with a guy who warned them “something” was coming to take them, (from what I understood the guy was the other boy kidnapped alongside Percy who I’ve heard him talk about before and was his best friend during this school year), anyway they were (along with a blonde girl from this same camp) travelling across the country to find something important that had been stolen.

That’s when they were attacked by (and I quote Percy) “Three demonic grandmas” in the bus before it went off rails and accidented and then exploded because it was hit by lightning (it’s the second time, it happened, in a little time, probably doesn’t mean anything but still weird). The bus where multiple people say they saw the guy who will later be known as their kidnappers.

At the Arch Percy told his mom about a lady who was sent after them and how they barely escaped (what were they doing here when they apparently had managed to get train tickets is above me, except if it was to not stay too long at the same place to avoid this from happening).

I couldn’t really hear a lot of what happened after because Gabe lost and started yelling but from what I caught at the end, he convinced his uncle to let his mom go if he could retrieve something for him – which he did – and the guy he had to fight is in fact another uncle (or cousin, that wasn’t very clear) that he called ‘Ares’ (yeah all the Greek Mythology names seem to be a family thing since Percy’s name is Perseus) and (GET THAT PEOPLE), Percy met his dad. His dad who is supposed to be missing. And soon after that – like 2 days at most – Gabe goes missing without a trace to where he went or what happened, not a single clue, Sally gets versed a very nice amount of money for a sculpture (that none of us remember seeing despite knowing she showed it to us at some point) and the two of them move out after.

So, what was the point of all that except giving more details? Well, I find it weird that all of Percy’s family members from his father side are popping out of nowhere, kidnapping their nephew (cousin?) with two friends of his and his mom and cause all these problems (without anyone being caught but their victims) and have so many people trying to catch them and usually exploding things. I personally, think that there was something else going on and that his dad implied Percy (whether it was his choice to or not, I don’t know), but ever since Percy got caught in more and more dangerous things, very different than his usual ones (look i've known the kid since he was like 3 or 4, of course i worry for him!).

tl;dr: I lived next to the Jackson for years and Gabe was an abusive asshole who went missing directly after the case which was after Sally&Percy went to the beach she met his dad on. Coincidence? I think not.

Edit: Yes, I heard about the blown-up gym, but they have cameras and someone leaked the videos and you can clearly see that Percy was trying his best to help his classmates get out while the non-registered visiting kids were throwing Molotov Cocktails.

Edit: Please stop asking why no one reported Gabe for his abuses, we tried but we’re all from a poor neighbourhood and Gabe’s childhood friend was in the police and Sally begged us to stop before it got us into troubles.

Edit: If anyone calls Sally a bad mother again for letting her child be abused, I will find you; they didn’t know for each other and each time any of us mentioned Gabe they’d run away as fast as possible and never let us the time to tell them, but Percy and Sally are literally each other’s world and Sally would probably have murdered him if she knew.

I think OP shouldn’t talk about Gabriel like that, was there ever any proofs? Perseus was a known troublemaker and delinquent; his stepfather was already nice enough to let him stay when he married his mother instead of throwing him in an orphanage.

More on the Percy Jackson Case

So like, 3 days ago I [19 F] found a post by a former neighbour of Percy Jackson and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. I’m currently his neighbour as well and I went at the same school (even if I was two years ahead of him). I really hesitated to post this but thought, why not?

And boy, let me tell you that this guy finds himself in the weirdest shit. Prime exemple, he ran away during orientation with a girl (which, he wouldn’t be the first to but it’s kinda weird because all the guys were staring really hard to two cheerleaders who were doing a little presentation at the same time) and when we found them the two of them were covered in some kind of golden sand or dust (no one know where it came from), Percy was holding a baseball bat and then one of the two cheerleader who was doing the presentation yelled “Percy attacked me” before doing something really weird and suddenly she was gone the music room was on fire, there was a hole in the wall and Percy ran.

To this day the two girls are still missing but no one remember what they look like except that they were beautiful or what their names were, no one knows how this was dealt with, but Percy was admitted at the school, and someone found proofs that he was framed.

Now if this was all I wouldn’t have posted this but back when we were at school together my friends and I ate at the table right next to Percy’s and his girl friend (that we’ll call Ruby), so despite being a 14 y/o Percy was intimidating as fuck, but we used this table since we entered the school and it wasn’t a kid two years younger than us who would chase us when we didn’t let older students intimidate us.

Anyway, sometimes we would hear them talk about weird things, but it always had link with Greek mythology, for exemple one day Percy missed a class and when Ruby asked him why he answered “Drakaina”, so being the little curious teenager I was, I searched it up, turns out they are a monster taking the form of a woman with the bottom of a snake and other of their attributs from Greek mythology. And that’s not the only time, sometimes he would answer “hellhounds” or “cyclops” and it seemed to make perfect sense for her.

He would also sometimes tell her about his father (never heard him say his name, sorry) but sometimes he’d also talk about a ‘Mr. D’ who he also called ‘Wine Dude’ in the same sentence and complained about how annoying he was or complain about ‘quests’. As well as a ‘Chiron’ who he wished would train him more, an ‘Artemis’ and her ‘Huntresses’, among others – those are just the ones I remember.

But one story that marked me was one Ruby teased him about; apparently, they met before they joined the school and from what they said he had nearly decapitated her with a sword at Hoover Dam, the same day the statues went missing. First of all how would he enter with a SWORD on him and why would she be so willing to be his friend after he nearly killed her (though Percy insisted it was an accident and he thought she was “one of the skeleton soldiers after him”, your guess on what this is supposed to mean is as good as mine) but they seemed really close, also kind of like they were dating but not really? Like on the verge of a relationship but there was something stopping them.

There was also one time, the year after that, Ruby had changed school and Percy was talking to one of the English teachers, who was dating his mom the guy was literally the definition of the Cool Teacher (a real one) and looked like a Hollywood star who barely started aging. So, I go after classes to talk to the teacher about one of my assignments when I hear them. Percy was talking about how surprised he was that he accepted everything so well and not running away calling for the cops and the teacher (we’ll call him John) just laughed and said that he loved his mother and if being able to stay with her came with their crazy life then be it (honestly husband goal right there) as long as his father gave a warning before coming to which Percy just laughed.

Another thing that freacked me out (and that happened way before this conversation, in fact it happened like 2 days after the eruption at St Helen), so one day I was coming back from a hangout and a man in a wheelchair comes knocking on Sally’s door, he’s with a blonde girl who looked about 14 and whose eyes were rimmed by red (I think it’s the same girl that the blonde from the original kidnapping), the guy introduce himself as ‘Chiron’ and ask to enter. Now our building’s walls aren’t as thin as the other Anon’s were, but I cross them just as they were leaving when I took out the trash and I could hear Sally crying as she bid them goodbye and Chiron told her “Once again, I am very sorry for the loss of your son Ms Jackson”.

And you can guess my reaction. Especially as two weeks later Percy comes knocking at the door, thinner than before and looking kinda sickly and said “Hey mom, I’m alive”.

Like??? Dude was gone for weeks, we thought he was dead and he turns up with “Hey mom, I’m alive”??

Anyway, things here don’t really make sense or have a link except for Jackson so draw conclusions, I just thought I should share this.

tl;tr: I was Percy Jackson’s neighbour and upperclassman and they were really weird things going on around him.

Edit: No, I still have no fucking clue what he meant with all the myths references

Edit: Yes, Ms Jackson’s cookies are as good as this other Anon made them be, I could even go as far as say that he underestimated how far people would go for them, and yes, the cookies were indeed blue.

Edit: People, please stop telling me that I’m talking of things I shouldn’t you’re starting to scare me.

Edit: I doubt Percy killed the girls, like I said he’s really intimidating but I once heard Ruby make fun of him for crying in front of ‘Finding Nemo’, he also has a very tiny black poodle who he absolutely adores and once scared away some guys who were following me, the only person I would be willing to believe he killed is that Gabe guy if he ever learnt about what he did to his mom.

Some more about Percy Jackson

So, I [16 M] have seen several posts about Percy Jackson so far, mostly from neighbours or former classmates. (I also watched his Buzzfeed Unsolved, of course) But as his current classmate and someone who shared a locker room as well as most of his classes last year, I think it’s my duty to share my observations about Weird Percy Jackson Shit I Have Witnessed.

Let’s start small, once one of my buddies asked him if he could borrow a pen, Jackson lends him a classic one but panics and switches with another one – nearly exactly the same – saying that this one was a gift. Weird, especially that it’s a 10c pen but okay, why not.

Another time his poodle came at school and bothered the entire school, how could such a tiny thing make such a mess I don’t know but Jackson looked very done with its shit. Also, I have no idea how something this small could leave this much drool all over him.

There was also this time we were in the middle of English (taught by his mom’s bf) and he suddenly started talking in another language – no idea what, it sounded kinda Greek but not? – it sounded like he was cursing, and then asked if he could leave the class. Now the teacher is usually pretty chill, but he doesn’t let students out without reason or anything, but he just glanced at Jackson and then looked really panicked and immediately let him go. He came back next period looking tired and with a few bruises.

I mentioned earlier that we shared a locker room, right? Well, we had gym that afternoon and his shirt had holes like someone had tried to cut it and there was blood on it, like lots of blood. And there’s one thing we all learn when you share a locker room with Jackson. You don’t talk about his scars. Ever. You don’t comment it, you don’t ask how he got them, you shut your mouth and do your business. But like he has a lot of them. Like really a lot of them, some look like something tried to take a bite of him or claw him out. There’s like thin scars, like from a knife fight – he has a lot of those – and part of his leg is decolored, like there’s a bit mark and then there’s a discoloration that come from that scar and starts spreading, it’s really super weird and the color of the scar is kinda green and purple.

I’m not done yet, since a few weeks there are more people coming to pick him up from school and they nearly all wear a bright orange shirt with a Pegasus and the words ‘Camp Half Blood’ on it. There was the blonde girl from the first kidnapping (also that’s kinda weird we never got her or the other kid’s name isn’t it?), they have the weirdest nickname for each other “Wise Girl” and “Seaweed Brain” like, where does this come from but okay I guess.

There was also this huge black guy who looked like he could break me with his pinky. Seriously man had those fucking arms! The guy was nearly as intimidating than Jackson and I’m about sure that one of the rich kids who don’t have an ounce of self-preservation and like to make fun of Jackson started crying and shitted themselves when that guy glared at them, and that was fair because I wanted to call for my mom and it wasn’t even directed at me. But like from what I heard he and Jackson are pretty close friends? Jackson kept teasing him about finally asking a girl out (Selena? Silene? Smth like that). I also felt super guilty because we literally never see him smile like that, maybe half a dozen times around his girl friend but yeah…

Another one would be this tall girl who could more than probably break me in half too, and okay listen, I’m not exiting school at the same time as Jackson on purpose, but tell me that you wouldn’t be listening to his conversations if you were me? Huh? That’s what I thought. Anyway, like I was saying this brown-haired girl shows up and they immediately start arguing. Like no hesitation, see each other’s face, be at each other’s throat. (I’m also about sure I’ve seen her fight two guys in an alley near the school a few months ago and that Jackson left classes early to help her out so I wouldn’t theorize about their relationship.) Where it gets interesting is that, and get that people, the guy from the very first post, Ares, the uncle (or cousin) who kidnapped Jackson and his two friends in the first place, is actually her dad. (insert dramatic music).

Yeah, I have no idea either why Jackson would interact with her or anyone from that side of the family with everything that happened (especially as he teased her about her and her siblings still being bitter that he beat her dad in a fight).

The people who came after that, it was less relaxed, they came and started whispering together before hurrying somewhere and all I could get from all of those meetings was ‘Kronos’, ‘war’, ‘quest’, ‘victims’, ‘help’, ‘Olympus’, ‘Camp’, ‘Princess Andromeda’, ‘mission’, ‘Luke’ and ‘Castor’ among other things but those were the ones to come up the most.

I know it makes absolutely no sense (I must add that Jackson looked either ‘absolutely crushed’, ‘ready to murder someone’ and ‘absolutely unreadable’ every time the word ‘Castor’ was said, so I don’t know if it’s a name or smth but it’s a ‘not going there’ zone for sure) but I’m sure someone will find a meaning or have a crazy theory so, have at it people.

tl;dr: I am Percy Jackson’s classmate and not only is he suspicious but so are the people he knows.

Edit: No, I have no idea what any of their names are and even if I did, I wouldn’t just post them on the internet, I’m dumb but not that dumb.

Edit: No, I won’t give the school’s name either, wtf?

      People were found trampled by nothing that could make sense, mauled, fallen into crevices or drowned after a bridge collapsed. Random arrows and broken pieces of armors or antic weapons were found scattered all around New York 7/?

All in all to this day we’re still not sure how many people died exactly but we know it’s at the very least over 10k with many more injured or in emergency care. 8/9

      Nothing was ever explained but the news of it were contained and no mention of it was ever made by a public figure in fact most mentions of it had been completely erased. Oh and when everyone woke up, like two hours after that, the Empire State Building lit up in blue and no one knows how or why. 9/9
