AITA? I (48 M) have dedicated my life to ensuring that those who take the hunter exam for the first time truly want to be there. The hunter exam is nothing to scoff at, it’s very dangerous and many people end up dying every year. So, I roughhouse the rookies a bit, shake ‘em up to make sure their heart and soul’s really into it. Sure, it’s embarrassing for them and I like to think twice as hard to pass, but I think overall it’s enrichment.
Edit: No, I’m not just cranky because I can’t pass the exam. I’m doing them a favor.
