UPDATE:
This is a fun read (for angst lovers) with artwork each chapter, but I don't know if I will ever come back to this. It really depends if my passion for this franchise rekindles at some point. I will still always love the Cuphead series despite that! It holds a special place in my heart.Please get invested at your own risk of no conclusion. Enjoy!

The Cup bros return to Inkwell Ilse 4 due to their concern for Chalice.
Chef Saltbaker appears, even more deranged and manipulative than before. The trio soon find put that everyone on this Isle almost worship the Chef for his astral treats and the powers he promises to give them if they do his bidding and bring him live ingredients.The trio have a bounty on their heads and are hated by the townsfolk for 'what they did'. This leads to Mugman and Cuphead both getting kidnapped by Saluki and Esther respectively, during their plan to steal Saltbaker's ingredients.
Meanwhile Chalice has been turned real again by the Chef's newly gained astral powers from the Wonder Tart.
The bosses take the mug boys to his dungeon while they await their payment, only to be puppeted (to walk into their own cells) and betrayed by him.
