Summary:
Patrick sends a goodbye text message to Rachel before he leaves for Schitt’s Creek.
Notes:
I believe Patrick would have sent a text like this before he left. I know he’s not a good communicator but leaving Rachel hanging like that would eat at his conscience. He wouldn’t have bothered if he didn’t still care about her and I believe he did. And more importantly his text told her that he was cutting communication but he’d come back when he was ready. You can’t say someone is ghosting you when they’ve made that clear. Anyway, my headcanon is that Patrick didn’t flee town in the middle of the night and I’ll die on that hill. 💙
