Chapter Text

It was 10 when Stiles came up with what seemed like the best idea of the century. Looking at Scott, who passed out a few minutes ago next to him, he got up quickly moving to Scott’s desk. Getting into Scott’s laptop was easy, but what came next made him slow down and think.

Do I look up demons first? Or do I start with angles? It turned out to be neither, before he could make up his mind, there typed on the screen was one simple word.

            Ghosts

When did I- The screen loaded with that his eyes immediately went to the third link to come up, GhostFacers. Every fibre in his body told him to click it, but he ignored it and opened the first link that had the history and lore about ghosts.

It was 2 when Stiles finished going through every link on the first page except one. Looking at the notes he made, in an empty notebook he found in a pile of books and papers on the desk, he knew what came next.

It can’t be that bad. Stiles clicked on the link and regretted thinking that. Welp.

Going through the website was nothing interesting except the row of links to videos. Quickly while looking around for Scott’s headphones there was a noise down stairs. Stopping and straining his ears to listen he heard nothing, but the ruffle of fabric. Wings. Must have been Melissa. It took a minute more to find the headphones he plugged it in and pressed play on the first video.

After watching what felt like 20 videos (more like around 10) Stiles wanted bang his head against the wall.

Why did I watch that? There were only three episodes that even seem like they had use. Staring at the wall above the laptop going through everything a thought was pushed forward.

The book the ‘angel’ had was strange. If that video really was real then the book would be, but they didn’t know about the book even though apparently it had everything about them. Going back to the video and skipping through it so he could find the title of the book Stiles yawned. Supernatural was what the book was titled and sighing he opened a new tap and looked up the name.

Stiles didn’t know how much time went by as he researched about the books, apparently it was a whole series, and looked through news reports to see if anything was real. Scott’s alarm went off at 6:30 bringing Stiles out of his train of thought. “Did you -yawn- even sleep?”

“No. Now come on or we’ll be late.”

Scott didn’t answer, just got up and started to get ready. Stiles leaned back in the chair and stretched. Humming with content he closed up the laptop. Picking up the notebook Stiles made his way down stairs.

Leaning on the counter waiting for Scott so they could run by the house before going to school Stiles went over his plan. Go to the house then have Scott take me to school. When the first period bell rings, walk down to the library. Easy. Stretching again feeling a slight pressure in his shoulder blades Stiles heard a thump up stairs then a second later Scott running down the stairs.

“Look outside!” was the only thing Stiles could make out as Scott ran towards the living room window.

Stiles stood next to Scott at the window. “So what am I looking at?”

“It was just there.” Scott looked like a kicked puppy.

         “What was?”

         “I don’t know.”

Stiles looked at Scott disbelievingly before sighing, “We should get going, we're going to be late.” even though I’m ditching.

Getting to the house was like normal if you can say that. See fitting two people on a dirt bike made for one wasn’t easy, but by now it was natural. Running into the house grabbing his backpack after getting changed Stiles stumbled down the stairs quickly locking the door and turned around to see the street was gone.

What, what the fuck?!? There was a tall abandoned building with a big black door and when Stiles blinked it was gone and the street was back with Scott yelling at him to hurry up.

Running back to the bike and more than likely breaking the speed limit they made to school with three minutes to spare before the late bell. Scott said goodbye running in the direction of his first period and when he was out of view Stiles turned around and started walking towards the library.
