Recipe Card

From the kitchen of Stede Bonnet

Title: Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients: 2 C Bisquick (or Jiffy); 2/3 C Milk; 1/2 C Shredded Cheddar Cheese; 6 T butter; 1/2 t garlic powder; 1/4 t Old Bay seasoning 

Directions: Heat oven to 450 deg. Combine Bisquick with 4 T of butter using pastry cutter or large fork. Add milk and cheese, and combine. Spoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 min. In a small saucepan, combine 2 T butter, garlic powder, and old bay seasoning. Heat until butter is melted. Spoon over hot biscuits. Makes 12.
