   Summary

   In which a young, talented but disillusioned scientist named Thomas goes about his research at WCKD, fruitlessly searching for a cure to the Flare. The monotony of it is only slightly broken by a rocky affair with his coworker Newt, but after five years he has more questions than answers. It is only when a new miracle test subject is brought in on a lucky sweep that Thomas realizes there might be hope for the cure, and his own pointless existence. The Maze Runner, but make it WCKD corporate hell. And Thominho. Of course.
