The Whole Rigmarole Of Running Errands For Your Friends

Summary:

Solo patrols are usually slow and quiet...USUALLY.

Unfortunately, Kenny's friends have some errands that need to be run and Kenny thinks he can do everything.

Spoiler alert: he can't.

Notes:

Wow this stories got a little of everything; fluff, fight scenes, shipping fodder, the beginnings of character growth, the whole shabang!

I think this might be my longest (single chapter) fic I've written, at least for a long time.

Work Text:

Kenny glared below onto the campus, keeping his ears open to any sounds below, crouched low with his cloak pulled close around him. The streets were empty, so opened his mouth to ask his lady in the chair something, before shaking himself. Informatrice, formerly Call Girl, was on a well deserved break tonight, meaning Kenny was on his own tonight. Solo patrols were pretty boring, so he mostly used the same pathway to zigzag across the town and back to his apartment building. they were some of his most boring and lonely patrols. Informatrice spoiled him with her presence and skills, but he could being on his own.

Kenny sighed and stood, stretching his back with a grunt. He turned, preparing to jump to the next building, before his phone dinged.

On solo patrols, Kenny left his burner phone at home and just took his regular phone and normally, put it on silent. Not this time, apparently.

11:25

Coffee Boi: Heyy Kenny? you awake?

Kenster: ya whats up

Coffee Boi: can i asl a massive favor?

Kenster: sure what can i do for you?

Kenny face palmed, momentarily forgetting why he was standing on a roof. It wouldn't be too hard to hide his identity, he carried makeup remover in his cloak and can just flip his shirt inside out to hide the M. the white jeans, spiked black gloves, and large steel-toed boots where pretty typical for Kenny's outfits, so the only issue was the cloak and belt, but stuffing those somewhere real quick wasn’t to much of a risk.

Coffee Boi: Craig and i are both stuck at work rn but om out of my persecription is ready and needs to be picked up and i really shouldnt wait tp pick it up in the morning

Coffee Boi: Will you pick up my percrimption for me, ill pay you back i they have you pay!

Kenster: yeah sure i can run by the drugstore for ya

Coffee Boi: thanks kenny, ill owe yyou a massive one!

Kenny sighed, gently shrugging off his cloak and flipping his shirt inside out. He had begun digging around in his cloaks myriad of pockets for his makeup remover when his phone dinged again,

11:29

R.L.Stein: Hey Kenny, are you out and about right now?

Kent: hey tolkien yeah im out whats up

R.L.Stein: Are you going by the library? If you are, i might ask you to drop a book for me, the Library closes at midnight.

Kenny glanced at the time. 11:30.

Kent: uhhh yeah i can drop a book off for ya

Kent: meet me on the fire escape.

R.L.Stein: Why? Are you banned from the dorms again?

Kent: nahh they didnt catch me with the fireworks this time

Kenny clipped his cloak back on and jumped onto the next building. He’d have to pass by the college library when heading toward the drugstore off campus anyway, and if he wove over the building just right he could manage to stay on patrol, sans his eye shadow.

Tolkien’s dorm wasn't too far from Kenny's starting point. Kenny dropped his mask, cloak and belt into a heap on the buildings roof before slowly descending the fire escape, scrubbing the eye shadow from around his eyes,

“Kenny, hey!” Tolkien smiled, waving at him from his doom room window, “why are you on the roof?”

“Its a long story.” Kenny smiled,

“Alright then, thanks for this, Man, I owe you big time!” Tolkien smiled, passing Kenny the large book,

“Is that Kenny?” Clyde's familiar voice called, appearing over his shoulder with a wave,

“Hi Clyde!”

“Hi Ken!”

“Right well, the library closes soon so I'm gonna go drop this.” Kenny smiled, wiggling the book in his hand and heading up the stairs again, Tolkien yelled something up at him, but Kenny was already on the roof, pulling his gear back on and rushing off again, only for his phone to ring again. He slowed his roof running, opening his phone,

11:30

Wemdy: Yo kenny, you're out running around right?

Kemmy: ya why and howd you know

Wemdy: Tolkein said you were and, if i bought you food, would you grab mine and Bebe's from Asher's deli?

Kemmy: og fuck yea you know my usual?

Wemdy: yeah i do, dont worry!

Kenny sighed, picking up his pace again. Luckily, Asher's deli was close to the drugstore and he could swing by without much issue, and he wasn't one to turn down free food.

Kenny smiled as he approached the library, its lights still on. Kenny dropped down, stuffing his cloak and mask next to the large metal box he had landed next to, before checking the time, 11 40. He left his belt on, before running across the street, book clutched close to his chest. Kenny had never been more relieved for the drop boxes, the heavy thump the book made signaling the completed quest. Kenny turned, pulling out his phone to let Tolkien know the task was done, before a familiar voice cut the air,

“KINNEH!” Eric Cartman called, exiting the library with a grin.

Kenny cringed, “hey Cartman, whats up?”

“Not much man, not much!” Cartman began to monologue about his life, complaining in no polite or appropriate terms about his teachers and life on campus and pretty much everything else, all while Kenny tried, in vein, to slink away.

Kenny’s phone suddenly began blaring a guitar rift,

“Sorry Cartman, gotta take this!” Kenny grinned, before rushing off and answering his phone, ignoring an offended Cartman.

“Kyle you king of timing!” Kenny smiled as he pulled on his cloak and grabbed his mask, tossing a glance over his shoulder as he began looking for a way up onto the roof again, making sure Cartman wasn't following him.

“Hey-what?”

“Got cornered by Cartman, again.” Kenny growled before hoisting himself up a buildings fire escape,

“Ah shit, sorry Kenny,” Kyle audibly sighed over the phone, “uh, hey what are you doing right now?”

“Oh you know,” Kenny smiled, tying his mask back on the best he could one handed, “Running errands for other people, why?”

“Stan's at a party, and I haven't heard from him for three hours.”

Kenny groaned, jumping across the gap between buildings, “How the hell does he have a better grade in Mrs Birch’s math than me?”

“Cause I've been tutoring him all semester in return for him helping me in bio.” Kyle groaned,

Kenny sighed, the campus disappearing into regular cityscape, “that explains it.”

“Hey man, I offered.”

“You did.” Kenny smiled, before he froze, the sounds of a fight gently drifting up, Kenny quieted his voice, “Kyle, text me the building of the party, I gotta go.”

“What, o-ok whats up?”

“I’ll see you later.” Kenny hung up the phone, shoving his phone back into a pocket in his cloak, “prescription, dinner, probably drunk Stan, Patrol.” he repeated in his Mysterion voice, before he leaned over the edge of the roof. Three men and a woman desperately swinging at them, only for them to laugh at her.

Kenny reached into his cloak and pulled out his cheap spring loaded staff, opening it with a satisfying whoosh. He took breath and leapt to the ground, landing with a gentle thump.

The men turned to look at him,

The third man, tall and wearing a red shirt spoke up, “who the hell are you?”

“In a rush.” he growled

The second man, shorter and in a black tank-top suddenly stepped back, panicked, “shit, i know who you are, you’re that fucking vigilante!”

“Vigilante?” the first man, in green long sleeves, laughed, “I ain't scared of you.”

The woman pointed out of the alleyway with her thumb, mouthing ‘I'm gonna run.’

Kenny nodded a little, before spinning the staff in his off hand. This taunt was apparently too much for the men, who rushed at him.

The first man raised his fist, aiming at Kenny's head, only for Kenny to catch the punch with his free arm and pop him in the nose with his staff. The man staggered back, and Kenny lifted his leg and kicked him as hard as he could, knocking him back into the second man,but he didn't have time to celebrate as the third man threw a punch, landing a lucky shot on Kenny, who stumbled back in shock.

He shook himself a little, slipping his pepper spray from its place in his belt. He aimed up at the man and pressed the button , only for a pitiful amount of the liquid to bubble out.

“Oh dammit!” Kenny growled, before chucking the hunk of hot pink plastic and stickers at the third mans head, whacking off his skull with a hallow thunk. The man stumbled back as Kenny rushed forward, cracking his staff against the mans jaw. The man fell back landing in the trash with a clamor.

Kenny took a breath, stepping away to run, before the second man blindsided him, slamming a trash can into his face.

Kenny fell back with the hit, falling back onto his ass. Pain ricocheted through his face as his eyes watered and warmth dripped down his face.  Kenny growled up at the man, who stood above him, looking mildly panicked, before rolling onto his hip and slamming his foot into the mans shin, digging his heel into bone. The man screamed and, as Kenny scrambled up to his feet, the man fell to the ground, putting his arms up in surrender.

Kenny took stock, the first man had run, the second was at his feet and the third was stunned. His own face was coated in his own blood. He reached into his cloak and pulled out his phone, dialing 911 and giving the location to the operator, who recognized his voice. After hanging up, he glared down at the second man,

“Stay here.” Kenny growled, his Mysterion voice dark and intimidating.

The man nodded, and Kenny climbed back up the fire escape.

Kenny took long slow breaths, trying desperately to clean his face with his cloak.

His phone dinged again,

12:20

Wemdy: Hey man, I just got the alert our foods ready for pickup, so whenever you can lmao!

Kemmy: gotcha

Kemmy: hey whred you get that pepperspary?

Wemdy: did you use all of it already?

Kemmy: maybe

Wemdy: lmaooo girls secret!

Kemmy: Wemdyyyyyyyy

Wemdy: WEMDY?????

Kemmy: looks its your name in my phone and i still have tears in my eyes.

Wemdy: Lmaoo, your name in my phone is Kemmy

Wemdy: wait, did you get pepperspray in your eyes?

Wemdy: kenny?

WEmdy: kenny did you spray pepper spray in your eyes?

Wemdy: KENNETH MCCORNMICK DID YOU PEPPER SPRAY YOURSELF????

Despite himself, Kenny smiled. He tucked his phone away, before leaping over to the next building, only for his phone to ding again.

Craig: Yo Kenster, you still running around?

Kenny: how have i become everyone else's errand boy

Criag: Convenience sake

Craig: Will you grab Stripe from the vet for me? Its 24 hour but my boss is being a bitch.

Criag: you can just drop him with Tweek

Kenny: yeah fine

Kenny screamed internally, before taking a breath. Kenny crossed a few buildings before a familiar voice cut the late night air.

“You know Mysterion, your normally much easier to find then this.” Professor chaos growled, a pair of small robotic minions at his side

Kenny turned around and look at the villain.

“Not now Chaos.” Kenny growled, rushing away from the supervillain, disappearing down a wall and away from the villain

Chaos sputtered,

“D-did he just? HE JUST BLEW ME OFF!” Chaos gasped, he moved to follow him, only to realize that Mysterion was well and truly gone,. Chaos look down to one of his robotic minions, “Did That Just HAPPEN?”

~~~~~~~~
 Kenny dropped in the alleyway way between the drugstore and whatever shop was on the other side of it. With a nervous growl, Kenny dug some cash, his phone and a few other things from the cloak’s pockets, before once again slipping off most of his gear, stuffing his supplies behind a dumpster.
Kenny slipped inside, squinting at the fluorescent lights burning at his eyes. Passing through the isles, he glanced wistfully over the snacks and drinks, before shaking his head, pushing back to the pharmacy in the back.
He cleared his throat, dislodging weariness and frustration, “Excuse me? I need to pick up a prescription?”
“Oh, coming coming!” a voice echoed from the back as an older woman appeared, “Whats the naME Oh My God, what happened?”
She asked, reaching toward Kenny's face in worry.
Kenny gently touched his face. Blood was still smeared across his mouth and cheeks, and Kenny laughed, embarrassed,
“I fell in a trash can.” He lied with a smile, “I don't think its broken.”
Kenny knew it wasn't, to little blood and it didn't hurt as much as it should if it was broken.
“Well alright then, whats your name?”
“Well the names Tweek Tweak, I’m picking it up for him.”
“Ah right I remember!” the pharmacist smiled, before disappearing back into the back, returning with a pair of small paper bags, “here we go!”
“Nice.” Kenny smiled, as the pharmacist clicked something into her computer,
“Right this one is Mr. Tweak’s prescription,” she passed one of the bags to Kenny, “its all payed for so no worries, and this,” she passed him the other bag, “is for you, its just some alcohol wipes and tissues so you can clean up!”
“Oh thank you!” Kenny grinned, “Have a good night!”
“You too! And,” the woman smiled sweetly,”take care of yourself dear, you look like you’ve been burning the candle at six different ends.”
Kenny smiled back at her and nodded, before leaving the drugstore.
Kenny sighed, pulling out a wipe and cleaning his face. He moved to pull his cloak back on, before freezing. Vets office, deli, Stan, dropping everything. He couldn't do everything all at once on patrol, something had to go. He checked his phone, 12 40.
“Shit!” Kenny growled, shoving his mask in a pocket. He nervously hummed, weighing the belt and cloak in his hand. He growled, rolling up his cloak, wrapping his belt around it, and tucking it under the same arm that held Tweek's medicine.
~~~~~~

Kenny gently opened the door to a thankfully empty waiting room. Kenny relaxed and walked up to the front desk,

“Hi I'm here to pick up an animal?” He asked the tired man behind the desk.

“Uhh, sure, like adoption or?”

“N…no I'm here to pick up my friends guinea pig, uhhh its name is Stripe tucker?” Kenny's leg bounced with the dull ticking of the clock on the back wall of the waiting room.

“Oh yeah yeah yeah! Give me a sec.” the man smiled, before disappearing back and reappearing with the elusive stripe, as well as a small cardboard carrier, “here ya go man, shes all payed for.”

“Sick dude, thanks.” Kenny smiled, taking stripe in one hand and setting her on his shoulder before opening the carrier before offering it to her. Stripe just got more cozy on his shoulder. Kenny growled, “Alright then, have a good night man.”

“You too.” the man nodded, as Kenny rushed out the door.

~~~~~~
Alister's deli was three blocks away, and kept its online orders in a warmer while waiting to be picked up, a small miracle for Kenny.
“Here ya go man!” the far too awake worker behind the counter smiled at Kenny, passing him the bag.
“Thanks!” he smiled,
“Oh, for your passenger!” they grinned, passing him a small slice of tomato for stripe, “don't worry, tomatoes are fine for guinea pigs to eat, I keep em myself!”
“Oh, thanks!” Kenny smiled, passing the shockingly content pet the slice, “have a good night.”
“You too.” they waved as Kenny left, shoving Tweeks meds into the bag.
It was a longer run back to the campus, and Stan had decided that the Winston Wall, the farthest point on campus, home to all the frat houses, was a great place to party.
Kenny knew there was a party going on in the Wilson Building before he even double checked the location Kyle told him. The dull bump of music leaked from the building and the bright party lights cast odd shadows over the road. Kenny inspected his gear and correctly figured that bringing food and drugs into a wild frat party was probably a stupid idea, so, with few other or better options, Kenny tossed his stuff into the bushes, sighed, and stole his resolve.
Stripe chattered in his ear, and Kenny gently pet her as he pushed inside.
Kenny never liked parties, to loud for his taste and he seemed to be the only one ever bothered by putting the music on 20, but Stan certainly always had a good time, even when keeping away from the booze.
Stan was chatting with someone and drinking, and did not seem to notice Kenny creeping up on him.
 Kenny shouted something he assumed was Stan's name, He couldn't hear anything over the pop music rattling the house.
“KENNY?” Stan yelled,before throwing his arm over Kenny’s shoulder,  “KENNY, HEYY MAN WHATS GOING ON, WHATTA YOU DOING HERE?"
“BRINGING YOU HOME, DUDE KYLE'S WORRIED.”
Stan looked confused, before giggling, “WHOSE NIGEL?”
“KYLE!”
“OH!! WHYS HE WORRIED?”  Stan yelled back, “THE PARTY JUST STARTED!”
“DUDE ITS LIKE 1 AM.” Kenny flinched, giving in to instinct and covering his ears,
“IT IS?” Stan looked panicked,
“YEAH MAN LETS GO.” Kenny gestured out the door with his head,
“OK!” Stan let him go and took a step, only to almost fall.
Kenny took a breath, before grabbing Stan’s hand and dragging him out of the building.
“So why did ya have to pick me up?” Stan drawled, as Kenny dug his stuff from the bush.
“Kyle asked me too, I've been running all over tonight.” Kenny tucked his cloak back under his arm and holding the bag in the same arm.
“...is that why Stripe’s on your shoulder?” Stan snickered, gently poking at the guinea pig,
“Yeah.” Kenny sighed, “ready?”
Stan beamed.
The pair walked in a comfortable silence for a few moments, before Stan spoke,
“Whats with the thing?” Stan pointed at the bundle under his arm,
“...It's a coat.” Kenny panicked,
“Then why arn’t ya wearin it?” Stan laughed, veering off slightly,
“‘M not cold.” Kenny shrugged, gently pulling Stan closer to keep him from drifting into his road
“You look tired.” Stan hummed,
“Yeah cause it's past one in the morning.” Kenny sighed,
“And you've done so much for all of us tonight.” Stan smiled warmly, gently leaning against Kenny.
Kenny huffed and rolled his eyes. For all the running around, it was a pretty quiet night otherwise.
“Don't be modest mister.” Stan smiled, throwing an arm over Kenny's shoulders and leaning into him more, “you’ve been going all over the place for us, you got food, and meds and pets and people for all of us, cause your a great guy who cares about his friends.”
Kenny opened his mouth to respond, before someone cleared their throat,
The pair looked up to find one Professor Chaos glaring at them, arms back, robotic minions at his side and a small shower of sparks around his shoulders.
Kenny’s heart began to race, a thundering drum in his chest that screamed at him to Run, to grab Stan and throw him over his shoulder and book it and hope that Chaos didn’t hit him.
“Woahh.” Stan gasped, eyes full of stars despite the fact there was a villain in front of him,
“Excuse me fellas,” Chaos drawled, “have you seen Mysterion, someone Has to teach that man some manners!”
“Nope!” Stan glowed and Kenny shook his head furiously,
“Right then, thank you gentleman, best get home, its late.”
Professor chaos stepped around them and off into the distance, and Kenny relaxed.
“Man, you’ve got balls of steel.” Kenny relaxed into Stan. He had never been so relieved that Professor Chaos was a bad guy, but not a Bad Guy. He was shocking sweet when not in full villain mode, and even then Kenny had heard him apologize to the Robots he threw at Kenny to fight.
“Whaddya mean?”
“Did you not recognize that guy?” Kenny asked,
“Nope!” Stan smiled, not pulling away as they pair approached the dorm building, "oh look home!"
“How?” Kenny gasped as the pair entered the dorm,
"We walked here Kenny!" Stan snickered,
"i meant how did you not recognize Professor Chaos?"
Stan shrugged, as the pair got into the elevator, before he snickered at something.
“What?” Kenny asked, pressing the button to Kyle's floor,
“You’re wearing eye shadow.” Stan smiled, before it suddenly dissolved, “and your cheek and nose’s all bloody and bruised, did you get in a fight again?”
Kenny squirmed, trying to pull away from Stan, but Stan was much taller then him and longer than him and held him close.
“Kenny, did you get in a fight?” Stan reiterated,
“You really should see the other guys.” Kenny sighed as the elevator opened,
“Kennnyyy.” Stan groaned,
“Hush, I’m fine.” Kenny growled, dragging Stan out,
“You said no more fights.” Stan moaned as they drew closer to Kyle's dorm.
“I said I wouldn't go looking for any flights, and I didn't, I got assaulted.” Kenny sighed, technically not lying since Kenny wasn't the one looking for fights, Mysterion was, “you’re home.”
“Yaaaayyy.” Stan smiled as Kenny knocked,
Kyle opened the door and sighed, relief clear on his face,
“Sorry I took so long.” Kenny smiled,
“He got in another fight!” Stan gasped.
“Snitch.”
“Kenny.” Kyle growled, “dude, is that why you suddenly dropped my call?”
“Look man a girl was getting harassed and all I did was call him out, if they throw a punch, I cant control that.” Kenny growled, “here take your boyfriend.”
Kyle rolled his eyes as Stan giggled, before smiling a bit, “thanks Kenny, I owe you a massive one.”
“No problem,” Kenny held up his bag, “right I got other shit to deliver, see you Monday?”
“See you Monday!” Kyle suddenly brighten, “Hey wait!”
Kenny froze as Kyle grabbed something and threw it at him. He snapped it out of the air, revealing a large fabric messenger bag.
“Free up your hands man, your arm must be falling asleep holding that blanket or whatever.”
“Thanks man!” Kyle glowed
“No problem, see you later Kenny!”
“Bye Kenny!” Stan glowed, waving him goodbye.
Kenny waved as he slipped back to the elevator. he sighed in relief as the doors of the elevator closed, before stuffing his cloak and belt into the messenger bag. He reached up and poked at Stripe, who made a happy little sound. Kenny smiled as Stripe swapped shoulders, clinging to the messenger bag.
Kenny picked up his pace, once he got out of the dorm, rushing out toward the girls place. The girls duplex proudly stood on the corner. Kenny smiled has he hopped up the staircase and banged on the door. Soon after, Bebe opened the door, coated with flour and god knew what else.
Bebe glowed, “I forgot about food!”
“Sorry!”
“No no its OK!” Bebe glowed, pulling Kenny inside a bit, “Wendy! Dinner!”
“Woo!” Wendy glowed, appearing from the kitchen similarly covered in flour and etc, “hey Kenny, busy night?”
“Oh you have no idea.” Kenny smiled, before placing the bag on a table, pulling a sub and Tweek’s prescription from the bag “right so, spicy Italian and drugs, those are mine.”
“Sounds like a good dinner.” Bebe laughed, pulling her own sandwich from the bag, “Anything exciting happen while running around?”
“Saw professor chaos.” Kenny shrugged, sneaking a bite of his dinner.
Wendy stiffened and paled slightly while Bebe gasped.
“What did he want?” Wendy asked, shockingly serious,
“He wanted to know where Mysterion was, something about manners I think?” Kenny shrugged, “right I gotta drop go drop Tweeks prescription and Stripe off, I'll see you girls later!”
“Wait hold on!” Wendy suddenly disappeared into the kitchen and returned with a pair of large Tupperwares, filled to the brim with cookies, “so these are for you.” She smiled, passing Kenny a Tupperware full of chocolate kisses, “and, if you could, could you drop these with Tweek? They’re for him and Craig.” She passed him the other box, filled with snicker-doodles,
“Hell yeah!” Kenny smiled, “right I'll see you two later!”
“Bye Kenny!” Bebe yelled as he exited their house, sandwich tucked into his bag and deliveries in hand. There was a quiet moment between the girls.
“Your worried about Mysterion, aren't you?” Bebe asked, smiling warmly at Wendy.
“Ugh, I knew I shouldn't taken a break.”
“He’ll be fine, frankly hes an adult who should be able to manage his own damn self.”
“Your right, but still, if Kenny had an encounter with a supervillain, then he was probably on campus.”
“And security can probably take care of it.” Bebe smiled.
“Yeah you’re right.” Wendy relaxed, “ill send a text over the burner anyway, just in case.”
~~~~~

Kenny had never been so happy to here the jingle of Tweak Bros door in his life.

Tweek suddenly righted, “mys-no, wait, Kenny!”

“Morning Mr Popular!” Kenny smirked, lifting up the cookies, “so these are from Wendy and Bebe,”

“Ooo!” Tweek beamed, inspecting the cookies,

“Got your meds, they didn't even charge me!” Kenny dug his medicine from the messenger bag with a grin,

“oh Kenny, you Superhero!”

Kenny held back a snicker,

“One more thing,” he purred lifting a hand to stripe and passing her to her co-owner, “Craig also asked me to pick this up.”

“Oh Hello!” Tweek squealed, taking her in his own hands, “Kenny, I seriously owe you for tonight.”

“Man all I really want right now is like, a cold brew with vanilla.” Kenny smiled,

“You got it dude.” Tweek smiled, “on the house.”

“Thanks Tweek.” Kenny smiled, scanning the newly updated menu. Tweek enjoyed taking off the chalk art on the menu and replacing it every few weeks, which usually accompanied menu changes. Kenny never got anything different, but he found the rotations interesting. Something caught his eye in the far corner of the menu. A drawing of a coffee cup with the signature Mysterion M and question mark, with the text underneath: The Mysterion; dark cold brew coffee with the sweet but simple taste of justice (Vanilla).

Kenny snickered. Only Tweek would've seen the M and question mark symbol so up close.

“What, oh you noticed the new drink on the menu?” Tweek glowed, clearly proud,

“I love that, the description is fantastic never change it.” Kenny glowed,

“I’ll have to make sure Mysterion himself is alright with the whole thing first.” Tweek shrugged, passing Kenny his drink,

“You already got his permission.” Kenny shrugged, ignoring that Mysterion was literally a quick swap around of his shirt and pulling on of a cloak away.

“Yeah but still, hes being really cool about this.” Tweek shrugged, before looking mildly confused, "I told you guys about that?”

“Yeah i think so.” Kenny shrugged, trying to keep his face neutral. He couldn’t actually remember if Tweek told the whole group that he asked Mysterion for permission, but it definitely seemed like something that come up with the whole story.

“Oh.” Tweek grinned, gently petting stripe, who made herself comfy on his shoulder,

“Right well, I'm gonna head off for the night, have a good one Tweek!” Kenny waved

“Bye Kenny!”

1:23

Informatrice: Mysterion? You there?

1:47

Mysterion: yeah im here

Mysterion: your also very lucky i ran back home for somethin

Informatrice: You didn't bring your burner?

Mysterion: no i never bring it on solo patrols

Informatrice: WHY?

Mysterion: i never need it!

Informatice: well keep you're eyes up, rumor states that PC was sighted on the College campus

Kenny groaned, rubbing his face. “Dammit Bebe, you and your web of friendships that spreads gossip super fast.”

He took another bite of his sandwich, before texting her back.

Mysterion: yeah i know hes probably pissed off cause i blew him off earlier

Informatice: …

Informatrice: you BLEW OFF a super villain?

Mysterion: look man i bigger issues than sparky goin on.

“Sparky?” Kenny leapt up and whirled around, sandwich still in hand. Professor chaos loomed over him, grinning slightly.

“Weren't you told that reading over people’s shoulders is rude?” Kenny growled, pointing at him with his sub.

“Weren't you told that blowing people off is rude?” Chaos purred, “I had a genuine question for you and you just rushed off!”

“Well I was... in the middle of something.” Kenny blushed,

"Getting food?" Chaos growled, pointing at the sandwich

"No!" Kenny snapped, tucking the sub closer to his before sighing, “if I answer your question will you put the villainy down for tonight?”

“That's fair.” Chaos nodded, before smirking, “so I can ask any question and you Have to answer?”

“Chaos.”

“Kidding kidding,” Chaos swallowed, suddenly looking nervous, “you're...good with flirting, right?”

“I suppose so.” Kenny said, “I've had a few relationships in my time, why?”

“How do I flirt?”

“…” Kenny blinked, “Professor Chaos are you asking me, your nemesis, how to flirt?”

“Well I have a friend whose very flirty I could ask, but he’s kinda the guy I want to flirt with soo.” Chaos blushed,

“alright, fuck it, I guess we're doing this.” Kenny rubbed his eyes,

The pair stood on the rooftop talking for a while, Kenny giving Chaos as many tips he could and Chaos listening intently. When Chaos left, Kenny was alone, wrapped in shadow and silence.

He smiled, crouching low on the roof and pulling his cloak tighter, before continuing to eat his supper.

It was a quiet night after than.
