Enid is cute and Wednesday doesn’t hate it. This is puzzling. Normally anything cute and brightly colored makes her want to throw up but it’s different with Enid somehow. Enid makes Wednesday feel kinda soft inside, as terrifying as that sounds.
The more Wednesday thinks about it, the more it makes sense. Enid is special. Everything about her is special so it makes sense she makes Wednesday think and act in special ways, too.
Wednesday has a thought, another shocking thought. She is turning into her father. She wants to be cute with Enid and make her happy. Oh dear.
