Chapter Text
Tweek watched in terror as his parents were put in cuffs in front of him.
Officer Barbrady pat his back comfortingly as the tears streamed down his face uncontrollably. His small body trembled, red and blue lights blinding him.
“Tweek!”
The voice was far off to him. His whole world was focused on the cops putting his parents he’s always trusted into the dark confines of the car.
”Tweek!”
All he could hear was the sirens. The sounds of his parents yelling, screaming that they were innocent. They don’t know where the meth came from. It was an accident. His mother cried about her son, what about her son? She was silenced, head shoved back down as the door slammed.
“Honey,” a smaller hand was on his shoulder.
Tweek’s eyes moved to a face he yearned to see. One he needed to confide in during such a horrible time for him.
“Craig,” he sobbed, “Craig.”
“I know,” he shushed, “I know, honey.”
He pulled him into a hug. Tweek’s hands fell from his tight grip on his hair, grappling onto his boyfriend instead. The rhythmic petting of Craig’s hand on his back was more soothing than anything the officer was capable of.
In all of this pain and confusion, Tweek was always able to find comfort in Craig. He was always there. Always. The world felt small around him. The world was safe when he was there.
They seperated by force by an adult neither had seen before. Tweek started hyperventilating again, staring up in terror by the deeply uncomfortable unfamiliarity. Craig looked from the adult to Tweek.
Quickly, he took his blue hat off and threw it to him. Tweek grabbed at it, staring at it in his hands, then staring back up at his love.
He cried again, tears falling quickly down his cheeks. “I love you,” he sobbed, in between it all.
“I love you!” Craig called back, desperate to keep his eyes on him for as long as he was in view.
It wasn’t long until Tweek was instructed to get into the CPS car. He looked out the rearview window, trying to find Craig.
He couldn’t. His breath quickened, sitting back in his seat again.
He held onto Craig’s hat, keeping the beautiful blue fabric close to his chest.
