||Dehya's back stiffens. That voice alone…she knew who it belonged to. Without warning, she stomps back to the booth to see, without much to be surprised by, the scribe of the Akademiya: Alhaitham. And in his hands was the compact mirror she pleaded to have. ||
The events that spiraled from the exhibition have now settled like the debris of a sandstorm. Alhaitham, after finishing up a court case, has been sought out by an old friend. To drag him and Dehya, the Flame Mane, into a theatric story about the Eremites' forsaken god: King Deshert. As the two get ahead of themselves in rehearsal and prop-making, an unsettling feeling eases into the cast before the curtain call. Neither, with all their might and wit, could predict the dangers within the audience they were performing for.
