    Distantly, Wolfwood thinks he should be guilty.
    No, that's not right — a part of him already is.

    He is, because he’s taking advantage of this utter fool’s selfless nature, how he would backflip into the flames of hell itself all while smiling if it meant helping another person. Wolfwood is guilty, using Vash’s status as inhuman to make a monster like himself feel whatever fragmented strands of humanity he has remaining. He wishes to feel human; something that cannot heal like he does, survive what he can. Something weak, brittle.

    He’s guilty, because he knows that Vash is aware he needs this, to become something tiny and insignificant.
