In this AU there are no 'greasers' and 'socs.' They're all in high school, Johnny and Daniel recently moved to Tulsa from Newark. Daniel and Johnny's dad, Robert Cade. Was actually a good guy, he recently passed and Johnny had a deep connection with him. Johnny had something traumatic happen to him (you'll find out in the story) and he's a bit more reserved due to that.
