Summary
It wasn’t that Stede hadn’t been acquainted with the cannabis sativa plant. In fact, it was unequivocally the opposite - nearly half his crew partook at least occasionally, so the Revenge had been carrying her fair share of flower for the majority of her maiden voyage.
Even so, Stede had yet to find the courage to approach his crew about partaking himself. ‘Something-something-professional-boundaries-or-other’ was the excuse he’d usually go with when he’d gotten close to considering it.
Then, he found Ed.
