Amity sits on the couch in the Owl House with a cup of tea in her hands, and Willow and Luz sat on either side of her. Despite the pain in her leg and the fact that her team thoroughly lost the Grudgby match, she can’t remember the last time she felt so… content.
She has real friends now. Not ‘friends’ she was forced to spend time with because their parents told them to, but real friends. People she actually likes to spend time with. Playing Grudgby with Luz and Willow was honestly the most fun she’d had in a long time.
A blush rises on her cheeks as she sits between the two girls, listening to them talking about the Grudgby match with Eda the Owl Lady (who is very happy to inform the kids that she spent the afternoon playing Grudgby too). And it suddenly occurs to Amity that, oh Titan, she has a crush on Luz and Willow.
But Amity can barely function with one crush (she still can’t believe the way she has acted around Luz, her mind totally switching off when she’s with the girl she likes), so how the heck will she survive with her mind focused on two beautiful girls?
Well, at least with her leg injured, she will have plenty of time to reflect on her feelings.
And maybe, once her leg is healed, she can think about the nerve-wracking prospect of asking out Luz and Willow at once.
(Which is a thought that makes her blush so red that her friends wonder if she’s sick.)
