Summary
Billy is hired to help out with maintaining the Penbrich Estate's living collection of young men. His da always says he's not the brightest lad, but it's okay work and not that different from minding sheep, and he's fed nice. But things go a bit wrong... and now there are consequences.
Mr. Lorent is particular about how the boys are to be washed. First is to lay the boy down on the tiled floor of the wash area and spread his limbs out so he’s all splayed flat. Then, soap them up and give them a good scrub. You’re also to wash out their bum holes, even though you can’t figure out why. Mr. Lorent just says it’s important, and so you do it. You use your fingers, just like Mr. Lorent showed you, and Adam is so soft and warm inside, just like a sheep during lambing. You press in really far and wash him good.
