Chapter Text
Sam and Bucky approached the entrance of the premises, holding hands. The fingers of Sam's left hand, with his wedding band on the ring finger, intertwined with those of Bucky's right hand.
"Name" asked the Security doorman, because it was a fairly exclusive club and had to sign up on a list and that the application was accepted, apart from paying a juicy amount, which fortunately did not come out of Sam's or Bucky's pocket, to be able to enter.
"James and Thomas Johnson," Sam replied in a firm voice, which did not show the nervousness he really felt and that made him unconsciously, begin to caress Bucky's hand with his thumb.
If they didn't wear their undercover costume, they both would have been easily recognizable, but Sam thought they had done a good job of hiding their identity.
Bucky sported red hair and beard and wore brown contact lenses, and had his arms and hands covered and tucked into the pockets of the brown coat that he was wearing; Sam, on the other hand, wore a wig of dark curls and a beard with a mustache longer than his partner's, he also wore contact lenses, but in his case they were black.
"You can pass," said the doorman, after locating them on the list, removing the maroon tape.
The two men thanked him and went inside the couples' exchange room, still holding hands. As soon as they entered, they looked around, looking for anything suspicious, they did not see anything so they approached the bar with the intention of ordering a drink and being able to observe from there.
The reason for their presence in that place was that it was suspected that the owner had other much more shady businesses.
Trafficking was his thing, from influence peddling to human trafficking, arms trafficking to drug trafficking. Obviously, he was not in charge of doing all that, but everything pointed to him being the head of an extensive network of people who took care of doing the dirty work while he enjoyed taking a percentage of the profits.
Bucky and Sam's job was to uncover all the dirty laundry they could.
It wasn't long until the first couple approached them. Sam was not surprised even dressed as different people, bodies like his and Bucky's were attractive to many people.
"Would you like to go up with us to one of the rooms?" asked one of the newly arrived couples.
"We are very flattered, but the truth is that it is our first time as swingers and we would like to take it easy"
The men nodded in understanding, but they weren't interested in going slow so, to Sam's relief, they left.
The scene was repeated with slight variations on two other occasions. The last one had been with two women, which had surprised Sam, obviously bisexuality existed, he himself was, but he just didn't expect it.
Being such an exclusive and expensive place, there were not many people and Sam felt that, if they continued like this, by the end of the night they would have politely rejected everyone in the place. That was until the fourth couple approached, this time consisting of a man and a woman.
"Good night," they said and Sam and Bucky responded kindly to the greeting.
"We have been watching you for a while," the woman said, "and we could not help but notice that, although you have been approached by some couples, you have not left with any. Would it be too indiscreet of us to ask why?" her tone was flirtatious, but it didn't do anything for Sam who thought "Yes, it's dammed indiscreet" but instead replied
"Not at all, it's just our first time and we want to take it easy. We don't want to go to bed with the first thing that happens, we need to meet people first. I wouldn't be calm letting my husband go with anyone," Sam said, affectionately rubbing his nose with Bucky's and stroking his hair thinking it would make the woman uncomfortable.
Bucky's smile makes him want to kiss him and for a moment he considers doing so.
It would not be the first time, they had taken into account that maybe they would have to do it and they had kissed so that, if it was the case, it would not be seen, nor would it feel strange.
Sam didn't know what it had looked like, but it had felt incredible.
However, it wasn't necessary for them to do so at that time so instead of kissing Bucky's lips he kissed the tip of his nose. Tender and giving the punch, but not as intimate and romantic as a kiss on the mouth.
He looked at the woman, but there was no trace of that discomfort that Sam thought he would see in her, there is only lust in his eyes and a predatory smile.
"Well, if your husband likes women, it's your lucky night because we can't wait to meet you," she finished the sentence basically devouring Bucky with his eyes.
Sam was about to say no, that Bucky only liked men, unknowingly, the woman had given them the perfect excuse to reject them, but he was shocked when he heard his partner speak.
"I am," said his fake husband, letting go of his grip and approaching the unbearable woman, "and I'd love to meet you."
Sam's stomach drooped, he watched as his friend kissed the hand of the girl who let out a horrible chuckle.
He couldn't believe that Bucky was flirting with someone, especially someone so unattractive, in the middle of a mission and while pretending to be married to him, but what really bothered him was the part of Bucky flirting.
He had always wondered how was the charming boy of the 30s-40s who drove all women crazy and Steve always talked about, now he knew it and the truth was that he would have preferred not to.
"I also tenderness and believe me that my husband is looking forward to meeting yours very, very intimately" Bucky's smile became tense, almost imperceptibly, but Sam noticed it and felt a strange euphoria quite immature and silly.
"Why don't the 4 of us sit down and talk?" He said approaching the man who smiled delightedly and touched his ass.
"Slowly, champion," Sam said, hoping they wouldn't notice how uncomfortable he was.
The woman was already taking Bucky by the hand to a table, Bucky continuously looked back as if to make sure the other two men were following and Sam was filled with anger at the unprofessionalism of his co-worker and well, okay, maybe also out of jealousy, but He wasn't going to stop at that.
He did not know how the fuck they were going to carry out the mission with Bucky flirting with that viper and him being attacked by a guy who by the way he had touched his ass before and the way he was grabbing him at that moment well could be an octopus
