Summary
Another year, another successful takedown of The Demon King. Or, so we thought. Like a phoenix, Ganondorf Dragmire rises again from the ashes, and is really fucking tired of the repeating cycle. He wishes to break the cyclical curse, but this time in a completely unconventional way. His plan?: To combat his loneliness and ire of humanity by procuring himself a partner. However, this task is easier said than done. After all, he did murder hundreds of thousands of Hylians and is a well-known terror, so who would ever willingly court this evil villain?
Link, on the other hand, is beginning to feel this same dèja vú, to a lesser extent. He is quite content after all, always #winning. Zelda, his comrades, and the people of Hyrule all love and respect him by always bringing the villains to their knees. Yet, despite the glory and grandeur that comes with being “The Hero,” deep down he yearns for something new.
Enter Dragmire once more. Like a cat and a mouse, these two destined foes go at each others’s throats. However, instead of outright killing one another, Ganon presents his compromise. How will Link respond to this? Maybe with an insightful “Hah,” “Hyah,” or “Seiyah?” You’ll just have to read and find out.
