   Summary

   What if Rem decided to maliciously comply to Lights order to find a 3rd Kira? What if she thought that the best thing she could do for Misa was to make the 3rd Kira be as far away and hard to find as possible?

    

   An AU set right before/ during the yotsuba arc where Rem decides to make the 3rd Kira someone who lives incredibly far away from L and Light. Rem has an adventure in the far away city of New York with an unstable Investment Banker, Light gives up his memories and has to deal with feelings he seriously doesn’t want to talk about, and Ryuk just wants some new apples
