“Ah! So this is the famous Patrick! Wow! Now I get it. Honestly, David won't shut up about you. He's so wonderful, so dreamy. You should see his—”
“Do not—” he scowls at Stevie but she just grins back at him like the psycho she is, —“listen to her. She's talking nonsense, she's high as a kite right now!”
Patrick is blushing furiously, and David is ready to apologise, until he notices a definite shy, pleased look on Patrick's face. “Time for lunch!” He grabs Stevie's arm and pulls her out the door before she can embarrass him any further.
