   Summary

   He opened his eyes. He was leaned up against the passenger side window of his car, he could see the sun rising outside. They were driving through the countryside it looked like, there was plenty of farmland all around them. He looked around the car next. Kian was sitting in the driver’s seat. Kian had survived. That was real, at least.

   Rand turned to look in the backseat. Rolan was sitting there, seemingly asleep. He was missing his left arm, and in its place was a terrifying blade-thing. There were also antennae sticking out of Rolan’s head, and there was a quiet clicking that came out of him as he breathed. Rolan was… alive as well.
