Chapter Text
A small child was alone.
He was crying.
But there was no one there to hear him.
He was in an empty house.
On an empty street.
His family had left.
They left him alone.
How could they?
They were his parents after all.
Whatever, he was fine.
He stood up and wiped his tears from his face.
Crying would do nothing to help him.
He was on his own now.
He had to stand tall.
Time skip to 2 years later:
The hero looked disappointed . He was Theseus’s mentor, and friend. So the 9 year old didn't want him to be mad. Theseus quickly tried to explain why he was late to their usual meeting. But it was no use. Dream yelled, his hands flying around. Honestly it was scaring Theseus. He didn't know what to do. Dream stormed out leaving a scared kid in his wake.
The next day, Dream had acted as though the events of last night had not happened. Theseus went to the training room. He saw his teacher in the corner, preparing the training dummies. Dream was as scary and powerful looking as ever, towering over everybody else in the whole hero tower. Theseus went over to him and bowed, it was what Dream had taught him to do. Dream bowed back and they spent the next 9 hours straight training, nonstop. That night Theseus was sore and tired. He had to do what dream said though. He always had to follow his instructions. The next day they trained right when Theseus woke up. They trained until sundown and didn’t take any breaks except for lunch. They didn’t have any breakfast or dinner. When they were finally done Theseus was sitting in the corner breathing hard. He was fucked up and looked terrible. He was fine though, he had to be. If he wasn't, Dream would be mad. He just had to suck it up. He could handle a little pain right? Right?
