“ Wow …! Alright,” Grian chuckled, staring into Scar’s deep emerald eyes, which shimmered with that unmistakable silly joy. “I guess… I was proven wrong …!”
“Indeed you have, good sir,” Scar grinned, scrunching up his nose teasingly, while rubbing their foreheads together. Grian made a subconscious chirp at the comforting motion — a thing he often did when he felt happy and safe — and Scar loved to pull the avian noises out of him, whenever possible. “I told you I could put you in your place! You’re so tiny …”
Grian simply squawked in protest as Scar pushed him deeper against the wall, supporting his boyfriend’s legs with his strong arms, while the man-in-question hooked his heels together behind Scar’s back. Grian then wrapped his arms around Scar’s neck, flapping his feathered ears while he made cute little chirps. He then rubbed their necks together — tickling the down feathers on his neck — while a purr rumbled in his chest, making Scar chuckle not-so-quietly.
“You enjoying yourself, pretty bird?” Scar teased, watching the feathers on his back vibrate with excitement.
“Oh, just shut up and kiss me already!” Grian huffed, grabbing Scars face and pulling him into a deep kiss. He licked his lips, which made Scar happily open his mouth to grant him entry.
“Oh, get a room , love birds!” Pearl groaned as she entered the kitchen, fluttering her moth wings in humorous annoyance. Do you really have to be smooching every time, Grian?”
“Don’t tell me you never do this with Gem!” Grian retorted, pouting while pulling Scar in closer, before shivering as Scar started leaving kisses along his jaw.
“ Guilty ,” Pearl teased — giving her voice a sing-song tone — sticking out her tongue and flipping her brother off as she grabbed a bag of crisps from the counter.
“ Prude !” Grian squawked as she left for her room, before chirping again as Scar started sucking hickeys on his collarbone. “ Scar !”
“You know you love me,” Scar murmured against his skin, giving that stupid little grin that Grian loved. Grian simply grumbled — rolling his eyes so far back he could’ve looked at his brain — pulling Scar’s face back into another kiss.
“Such a moron ,” Grian whispered against his lips, his face flushing a burning red. “I love you so much…”
“I love you too, pesky bird ,” Scar smiled back as Grian curled his fingers into the elf’s hair to pull him back into the kiss.
