Summary
The week before Grace Chasity went missing was the worst week she had ever had in her life. After being found unconscious on her parent's doorstep, she discovered that she had gained a sudden aversion to not only church, a place she had once held as sanctuary, but crucifixes as well. Along with pain spreading from the two new marks on her neck, this gave her only one idea of what it could be; she must have been turned into a vampire. Now it was her mission to either find a cure so she could go back to living a normal life, or more realistically, figure out how to survive outside of civilization.
But what will happen when Max Jagerman, the person she had expected this from the least, offers her his help? What's in it for him? She's not sure if she wants to find out.
