Chapter Text
Craig went to South Park elementary, then moved to North Park at the beginning of middle school. He stayed in North Park up until his dad got a job offer in South Park. So now in his junior year he is moving back to his old town. He wasn't really upset about it, but he was also pretty settled with how his life was. He had friends, good grades, no drama, his routine was consistent. Now it was being changed in the most difficult year of highschool. Great, that's just lovely, so now he was trying to unpack and organize his room.
He cut open the box labeled 'desk' and organized the components to each drawer. Tricia came stomping up the stairs and swinging on his door frame.
"Oh my God! I'm so glad we moved I hated it up there."
She had a hard time with a couple girls making rumors about her. She also hated the teachers pretty bad, which he didn't blame her he used to have them as well and they targeted him a lot. Might be because he was constantly getting into trouble, but you get it.
She stepped foot in the room and spun in his chair. He rolled his eyes at her and continued putting notebooks in his middle drawer. The bookshelf he had had been filled with books about space, music, poetry. Most people didn't expect Craig, the most boring person on earth, to be interested in poetry of all things. He didn't tell a lot of people about it, if they were close to him they just kinda figured it out.
"I'm so excited to see how the kids look now."
"Probably the same, just older."
"Ugh let me be excited, you're always so negative. Hey what about you, remember who you used to hang out with."
"Mhmm"
"Remember your little boyfriend, what was his name again? Did it start with a T, I'm not sure?"
He sighed not wanting to feed into her teasing. But before he could reply with something snarky, his mom yelled out that dinner was done. Tricia jumped up and started off with Craig close behind.
When they say down his mom was still not done, even though she claimed it was about to be so they should stay. Craig just started scrolling through the group chat of his friends, back reading their conversations.
Back in North Park he had two very close friends who knew things he didn't share too often. Cesar and Jullian, Cesar was bi and was known as a whore. Jullian being an exception since she was lesbian. She would always complain about her relationship problems to them. Craig was never too much into dating, sure he hooked up with both genders a couple times, but never serious. He didn't really care for it.

Craig clicked his phone off and placed it on the table. He started helping set the table as his sister put the food in the middle. His mom was in an unusually good mood.
Their dad came walking in looking exhausted. They all sat down and dug in. Soon a conversation sprung up about Craig's new job. Laura was happy about the money increase, but Craig was not excited for the amount of work. They both worked jobs, Laura worked from home, and Craig worked in an office. They owned businesses all around the Midwest, so about every other month they went on business trips to help out these other areas. Tricia hated being in quiet house so she would go to a friend's house. Craig would typically end up home alone every time. He didn't mind it infact he enjoyed it, he could come around the whole house without being questioned or bothered.
"Hey Craig are you excited about Junior year. I remember it was the most difficult."
"I guess"
"Remember your little friends, they were so cute. Hopefully you see them again"
"Mhm" he replied while chewing
After dinner he trudged back to his room and laid in his bed waiting for sleep to come. It was Wednesday so one more day till school. He was not nervous but he was dreading going through the process of meeting people again. Eventually sleep did come though and he fell into a state of dreaming.
