Summary
For as long as Xie Lian had existed, he was taught one simple truth; vampires were evil. They had to be stopped. They were bloodthirsty creatures preying on humans, hunting them down and bleeding them dry. A creature so cruel and vicious couldn't be allowed to live. Something had to be done about them once and for all. That was why he was created, his very reason for being.
Hua Cheng had lived so long he'd lost track; a sick twist of fate for one destined to die young. Becoming a vampire had made sense, and had finally given him the strength to fight back. The seeds of his hate for humans had been sewn long before his thirst for blood, but made killing to survive all the more enjoyable. But after centuries of living, humans continued to fight back. The rumours of something being made to eliminate vampires once and for all couldn't go ignored.
