    “Oh, so you've finally decided to join me? Have I passed whatever little test that was?” Neve says wryly without looking toward Rook. She pours herself another glass of the aggregio pavali, her lips quirking to the side.

    “More or less.” Rook snorts, unsurprised the woman had noticed them. She’s a sharp one. “Your reputation precedes you Neve Gallus.”

    “And yours does not precede you at all, unlike your companion. Harding, good to see you again.” Neve quips back with a glance to Harding, who winces as she nods, and then back to Rook, “I don’t believe we’ve been introduced…”

    “Rook. Just Rook.”

    Rook meets the detective Neve Gallus on the case of two Minrathous mages suspected to have been murdered by agent's of Fen'harel. Can they work together to stop whatever machinations they're planning before it's too late? Or will past prejudices and ego's get in the way?
