"I know that. I know I can't stay here. I know I have to move on and leave." Despite the way she strains, she cannot keep her voice from cracking. "But I can't go back. I can't be the crazy, weird girl anymore. I can't be stuck in that town—"
Pyro cuts her off, and his suggestion makes all her frazzled, unraveling thoughts pause. "You could… uh. You could come back to the University with me?"
