   Summary

   A virus released from a lab explosion devastates the futuristic dystopian world, turning cities into hunting grounds for monsters wearing Mobian faces. Sonic survives by scavenging for his friends until he crosses paths with Shadow after stealing his food. Shadow is searching for a rumoured path to the Floating City, one of the last safe havens.
