May steps into the Firehouse with a soft smile on her lips.
"Hey, May, what're you doing here?" asks Ravi as he calls to her from their lounge space upstairs.
"Just figured I'd stop in," replies May as she looks up at him, waving hello. "Are they on a call without you?"
"Ah, yeah, I got a concussion on our last call last night, so I'm stuck as man down," says Ravi with a wince because he's still annoyed about it. "They'll be back soon though."
"You got a concussion? What happened?" asks May as she quickly jogs over to the stairs and up each step until she can get a proper look at Ravi. "Are you okay? Why are you alone? Did you stop at the hospital for a concussion check?"
Ravi chuckles as May presses her hands to his cheek, looking him over, noting the bandage on his forehead and cheek.
"I'm fine, May," replies Ravi in amusement as he looks at her. "We went to the hospital right after. The concussion is mild, and Hen and Eddie took turns staying back with me until this call. Just a few cuts, no stitches required."
"Well, I can be worried about you," huffs May indignantly as she looks up at him, slight pout curving her lips. "You're part of the 118, and that's my family."
"Sure, that's why you haven't stopped touching my face," replies Ravi as he leans into the hands cupping his face gently, lips curved into a soft half-smirk that May can't quite stop glancing at.
"Why would there be another reason, huh?" asks May as she arches a brow at him, even as her fingers stroke over his cheeks.
"I don't know, May, but I'm hoping there is," murmurs Ravi as he looks at her, and May hates how easily she starts drowning in his eyes.
This attraction isn't new, but it's grown into being more than physical.
She likes Ravi.
A lot.
In a "I want to date him" kind of way.
"Maybe it is that reason," her voice drops to a whisper as she lets her eyes drop to his lips in a quick glance.
"Can I kiss you, May?" Ravi's question is so soft-spoken that she probably wouldn't have heard it if she wasn't so close to him.
"Can we go on a date?" retorts May curiously, wanting to know if this is more than physical for him.
"Whenever you want," replies Ravi quickly, genuinely as his hands find her hips.
May leans up and brushes their lips together just as a horn blares through the air. Ravi pulls away, but May doesn't let him go far, chasing his kiss, and she melts when he gives in, slotting their lips together as chatter explodes below them.
They'll have to deal with the team eventually, but right now, May's going to enjoy soft lips melding with hers, warm heat against her hips, and the firmness of Ravi's presence.
