Summary
Evelyn “Eve” Abbot is a triple boarded general surgery, CT and trauma surgery attending who has been MIA, assumed KIA, for the last 3+ years. Following the death of Dr. Adamson, her mentor and father figure, she couldn’t deal with the grief and signed up for her third tour in Iraq. 3 months into her 6 month deployment, a helicopter crash and IED blast left her a traumatic amputee and suffering with severe burns. After being taken as a POW/hostage in a hostile environment, she goes through unimaginable and practically unbelievable situations, until eventually she is recovered and able to make it back home to her husband, Jack Abbot, just in time for the PittFest mass casualty incident occurring in Season 1, Episode 12 and 13 of the Pitt. Her expertise is invaluable, but her disabilities leave her with disadvantages she’s never had to face before.
