Summary
You and Kakashi Hatake were friends, once. Before a serious injury all but ended your career, and the two of you drifted apart as he continued his training and you learned how to walk again.
Now, you teach history at the academy, and you’re hoping to rekindle your friendship with Kakashi…and maybe even do something about your old schoolgirl crush. Assuming he would even be interested in someone like you, that is… After all, why would the legendary Copy-Ninja ever choose you, a failed ninja with a limp and chronic hip pain, when practically everyone in the village is throwing themselves at him?
Before you can worry about that too much, however, you become the subject of cruel pranks that seem to focus on your old injury. You want to keep your head down and just ignore them. Kakashi isn’t going to let the culprit get away so easily, though, especially when the pranks develop into something more sinister.
