Image description/ID: Several panels of a Magnus Archives comic, the first panels depict close-up shots of Jonathan Sims getting moisturized by Nikola Orsinov during his month in captivity. In the first panel, Nikola squeezes out lotion onto her hand. Her hand is pale and plastic and covered in blood. She wraps a hand around Jon's bare shoulder, slathering it with liquid. His skin is visibly scarred and bruised and his arms and chest are tied across with rope. Then she runs her hand down his leg and finally his arm. Next, we see her hand on his arm again, but now he is wearing a green shirt and there’s bedding under his arm. A final panel shows Jon’s eye up close, looking shocked. He's suddenly awake. The next panels show a shot from above. We see that Jon is in bed next to Martin Blackwood, his face shocked and worried and staring upwards in fear, while Martin sleeps on his side, facing Jon. Martin’s arm is slung over Jon’s, in the same position as Nikola's in Jon's flashback. The next panel shows a closeup of Martin’s face, looking bleary. “Jon?” he asks, sleepily. Then we see a closeup of Jon, still staring upwards, teeth clenched, his body now visibly shaking. “I’m sorry,” he says, guilty for waking Martin up or for being so paralyzed by his nightmares or for being unable to return Martin's affection, or likely all three. The last panel is the overhead shot again, but with Martin yanking his arm back away from Jon’s body. Jon's fist is clenched and he is still shaking. In the next panel, Martin has risen slightly on his elbows. "It's okay," he says, looking at Jon with large blue gentle, earnest eyes. Jon looks back at him, tightly, still heavy with lingering guilt and pain, but his eyes wide and grateful. The last panel shows them both in bed from above. Jon is now on his side, facing Martin, with his hand on the pillow between them while Martin tucks his hand under his head. Jon smiles softly and says, “Thank you, Martin.”
