Because the moment his fingers brush against those soft, trembling ears, a sound slips from the bunny’s throat.

And it coils deep into Boss’ stomach. His fingers keep tracing soothing circles beneath his ears. Noeul’s breathing turns uneven, shallow pulls of air that stutter in his chest. His ears twitch beneath Boss’ touch, hypersensitive, every stroke sending visible shivers down his spine.
The creature doesn’t retreat. He leans in.
