Summary:
Jim spends an entire month carefully shielding his thoughts from Spock in order to plan a surprise proposal. When the moment finally comes, he discovers he wasn’t the only one keeping secrets…
Notes:
I saw this Tumblr post by @nyxettizm about their Tomodachi Spock and Kirk proposing to each other at the same time, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it—so I had to make a quick little comic based on it, because Jim and Spock are DEFINITELY the kind of couple to accidentally propose to each other at the same time.
In my head, Jim definitely attempts his proposal in Vulcan (with a very questionable Terran accent), while Spock spends a month researching human engagement rituals in multiple encyclopedias and academic sources, lol.
